The whole action sequence at the end of this episode combined with the cliffhanger ending with Jinx screaming "No!" gave me goosebumps the entire time. Goddam this show is too good it shouldn't even be real. How did League of Legends of all things become something so masterful and enjoyable lmfao.

In Arcane episode 6, we see whether or not the comments section will leave Goodwin unscathed.

yes. its a masterpiece in every conceivable metric, checks every box a tv show can check for me personally. it was my favorite show of 2021 hands down.

benj

I like the jacket, stylish. Looks warm especially considering your inside lol.

That whole sequence that started with Powder lighting up the flare was just so amazing and beautiful. Probably the best thing I saw in years. Truly a masterpiece

Megan

When did you start calling Heimerdinger “uncle Heimerdinger” I love it.

Yeah TMI backstory that you didn't ask for, my cat decided the litterbox was no longer up to his standards and decided that relieving himself on my stack of sweaters was the move

Nathan

Episode 1: "Jayce is my man, Heimerdinger is so annoying" Episode 6: "Jayce is really disappointing, he should trust Heimerdinger" The important thing this show portrays very well is that everyone - young or old, himbo or moogle - is on a journey.

Something I don't think you noticed (don't worry, a lot of people don't) but is worth pointing out -- the doctor? scientist? that Viktor meets and later goes to visit is the same one that we saw helping Silco develop shimmer at the beginning of the show. That's why his face is messed up and covered at the end, last we saw he was being engulfed in flames during the Powder Incident.

At least don't kick Heimerdinger out of the squad :( Curious to see where he goes from here

Xylen

The Heimerdinger ousting scene gets me every time. Pretty much everything Jayce says is true, Heimerdinger's sort of had his head in the clouds for a long time and has missed what's happening around him, he has a very different perspective, but... this isn't the way. Poor old gnome dude.

Yeah it's not that Jayce is wrong about his criticisms. But I feel like Heimerdinger himself was also sort of on the verge of that realization himself and is actually on the same page with Jayce in some really crucial ways. So to oust him is rough

Lulu

hahah it does look like a keyblade. jinx be like "i've been having these weird thoughts lately. like.. is any of this for real... or not?"

It's not easy for me to say which episode I've been most excited for you to watch, but episode 6 has definitely been up there. A lot of it is building the setup for the final act, but the way it goes back and forth between adding on to what is pushing each character and then revealing their next move is so effective. Every scene is so emotionally driven that you can feel the tension mounting as the episode goes on. Perfectly fitting that things would boil over in the scene where you hope for it to the least.

Amber

Vi and Caitlyn are my fav part of the show lol just love their dynamic

Chris Sharpe

“Are you real?” Gets me every time.

T-mo

You look so cozy!

Alexis Drake

Definitely read the episode title as “When These Walls Come Rumbling* Down” and laughed at the timing of this with AOT :)

Late to the party, but the Jinx firing of the pepper shaker sequence is really fucking good. From the music, to the beautiful visuals, to the great characterization, it’s all really top notch. It took me a while to get into this show for some reason, I don’t know why. I was very much on board after episode 3, but I was absolutely hooked after this episode.

Lily

Couple of cool details in this episode. First, at the very beginning, the young girl with Viktor is called away by her friends and you can hear them say "Sky"... which is Viktor's assistant now! So she's always been curious about him. Second, the gun that Caitlyn gives up to the potion doctor is the gun that is shown at the beginning of a previous episode when Caitlyn was shooting with Grayson. It's Grayson's gun that Grayson must have passed down to Caitlyn, so it would have meant a lot to Caitlyn. Just shows how selfless and kind Caitlyn is.

I know Arcane quote comps are long guys, sorry. It's the 40+ minute episodes lol "And you thought going your local pool and swimming in other kids' urine was bad," "Come get...mercury poisoning with us!" *whisper voice* "it's a metaphor" "That is 100% a pokémon," "You name is what I tell you it is. *Chuck*." "Ugh. SEVIKA. We hate Sevika," (Part 2!) "OOPS," "You are creating very difficult work environments for the staff," "All the murder and stuff he did was alright, but that was where he crossed the line," "The cat's been burned before," "Oh no, the 'a' word," "Well, I've been in jail for seven years. What an insensitive question," "Yeah, he's a great guy, Silco. A villain with redemptive qualities," "EHoohooho. Trauma. Trauma with that stone, and loved ones," "Your timing is awful; you have the worst timing in the world," "That's how you do a video game fight,"

Lol I'm interested in what the final "We hate Sevika" count will be. Probably 4 or 5.
