Attack on Titan is currently uploading so should be up in an hour or two :)

Also nice, now we've met Michael Jackson demon

So good to be back on here watching with you I finally caught back up with everything I've missed I had to cancel my membership for a couple weeks cause I was between jobs but I got a even better job now so it all works out

THIS is how you introduce a villain. I love how once he knew what Tanjiro was intending to do he immediately infects a random dude in front of his face. That's just such a massive "Fuck you" from a guy who killed your whole family. Michael Jackson Demon seems to check all the boxes for a villain to me. Scary? Check. Powerful? Check. Has motives? Check. Has a human side to him? Check. Mysterious? Check.

What an intro to Muzan, a really intimidating villain. One thing i always found weird about this episode is what's gonna happen to the guy he left after the swamp demon, i mean he's gonna show up with a girl who remembered getting grabbed from her home and a bunch of trophies from previous missing girls, and demon bodies don't stay around so he's just gonna come across like some insane serial killer

My boy Tanjiro did that on purpose. That's what the guy gets for talking shit to him instead of thanking him. That apology came too late.

Yeah that definitely felt like a challenge to me. Yeah I just did that in front of you and in front of my whole family (kind of)

Man I love how he dicects every scene. A lot of channels just kinda react to it but I feel like there is something more here and i like it. Its not like eny other channel I've watched.

I cannot stress enough how ufotable goes far above and beyond in its duty to portray Early Taisho Era Tokyo, and Japan in general. There are 3 very important shots this episode that showcase the extreme attention to detail the animators put into this series: The First one (https://i.imgur.com/D3hfknu.jpg) is the most iconic view of the Asakusa Shrine, well visited these days. It still looks a lot like it does today. The Second one (https://i.imgur.com/3UOzIgp.jpg) is a pan out shot outside the Shrine. By far the most important shot being The Tower Ryounkaku (https://i.imgur.com/E2rqfwh.jpg) is a short lived tower, but a very important one. It had the first elevator in Japan and it was built around the same area today as the Tokyo Skytree Tower. It was built in 1890 and demolished in 1923 because of damage it received in an earthquake. I got all this from reddit, thought it was really cool stuff, I'm a bit of a history nerd myself.

I didn't realize that there was a connection to actual locations. That's a great detail. For some reason watching this the city reminded me of places I've been not in Japan but in China and Taiwan. Though that may just be because I spent way more time in those places than I have in Japan.

Kei

Ah, this is the episode where Michael Jackson becomes a demon

Brimmy

I hate that the famdom calls muzan \michael jackson\ like please he doesn't look like him at all ughh

yoooo true, never thought abt this comparison. Pure evil just lying in plain sight with everyone to see but nobody knows. The best villains are like this.

"They have this lake, sometimes known as Pervert Lake" "I'm excited to see what it [Pervert Lake] looks like. Oh, it looks like dirty water/What's in the depths of the dirty water? Maybe a backstory," "The only way to face the darkness is by going into it," "Nezuko's like: 'Your water slash is cool and all, but I'm gonna punch him *real* hard, right in the stomach'," "Did he just touch The Kawaii Face? How dare you. He deserves to bleed," "Hopefully that stops him from making that sound again," "-in the form of like a rock, or a lake of perverts," "The things that are the biggest danger are largely the unknown unknowns," "Bring them under control until they're not a darkness anymore," (cut to my SOUL, why don't you, Goodwin) "It's a very ED ERIC situation," "Maybe you can invite him to be a Demon Slayer, get those referral points," "If someone doesn't sympathize with you, it probably means they don't understand the depths of what you've been through," (that hit HARD. it was recently the 2nd anniversary of my 2nd knee surgery, and boy oh boy did that crop up some memories) "No one really has any monopoly on experiences of life," "The tears in this show are so, ginormous," *sees a train* "Is that a demon?" (LOL) "NO THE UDON OH NOOO. That was such a crime. to humanity," "oh no he's got a cute daughter! and he's got a cute wife!"
