My first reaction to Zenitsu’s character was exactly the same as Tanjiro’s… https://i.imgur.com/puhK4FZ.png LOL dude looks at Zenitsu with more disgust than when he looks at demons, makes the scene absolutely hilarious to me. Ufotable drew the facial expressions so well this episode. Patreon thumbnail is perfect as well. Just imagine how Zenitsu is gonna react when he meets Nezuko 0_0

Nick

Oh I thought we weren't getting new videos until Monday haha. I think I had it wrong

lol yeah he said in the post that we getting Demon Slayer two days in a row too stay on schedule. They'll be a gap day tmrw though I'm assuming.

Amit

Zenitsu has the same voice actor as Connie, and you already know Falco and Tanjiro have the same VA. Basically what I'm trying to say is Zenitsu is trying to feed Tanjiro to his titan mom

Megan
>>78591307

lmao you have to be in a pretty sorry state for someone like TANJIRO to look at you like that…

Maurice Adler

Can you imagine that Zenitsu has the same voice actor as Dabi from My Hero Academia? Thats some vocal range right there.

Damn I really gotta switch over to the MHA sub but for some reason I just can't listen to Deku's sub VA without cringing. I think his dub voice fits too well with the character I just can't go back, but I know I am missing out on some incredible performences.

HA I knew they shared voice actors but I totally forgot about the connie mum thing

Valeri

The sparrow has it's own voice actor believe it or not. The same VA as girl Jesus herself, Tohru Honda.

OMGGGG I never knew this and now Im so happy. The little "Chu chu, chu chu" sounds EXACTLY like Tohru, I love it.

Kei

ZENITSUUUU!!! I'm surprised you're not that bothered by him because every reactors that i've watched really annoyed by Zenitsu 😂 But i love it because i love him! It's understandable if people hate him at first tho, especially in this episode. But he becomes more interesting as the episode goes on

He's definitely over the top this episode but it didn't bother me at all. My feeling is that he'll add a lot of heart

benj

That 360 degree room changing shot is just incredible. Fixated on Tanjiro and the girl, the "camera" spinning around them, while the rooms change over and over again, it looks SO good. One of my favorite shots in the entire show, and thats saying something cause this series is just full of genius animation.

7thdilemma

Well Goodwin, you have now heard the noise.

Chris Sharpe

Legend has it that pig man is the pig Ymir let free, he’s the last hope for the scouts and will single handedly defeat Eren.

Chris Sharpe

Zenitsu is an interesting character, he grows on you in surprising and unexpected ways, even though he seems like a slightly watered down Mineta. He actually got first place in all the favorite character polls in Demon Slayer besides I think the 1st.

Skyler Anderson

Love this show so much. I've been enjoying going back through season 1 of this show. I can't wait to see you react to the movie and the second season. This show is just so good. It truly is pretty slow in the start comparatively but I'm glad that it seems like you're liking it.

IKR! I loved the early show already but these reactions have made me find a newfound love for these early demons. It just gets SO much better too...like I cannot wait for Goodwin to see episode 19 and Mugen Train.

Athena

be(a)st boy, Inosuke is here :)

Brimmy

Oh to eat pizza rolls and watch this ep....it might be a bad idea as i might cackle a lot XD maybe its how the VA pitches his voice? but i can't stop laughing whenever zenitsu talks XD its just so good ok turns out i can't react, laugh and eat at the same time XD omg the description XD spot on lmao I'm so excited omg

MagnusVD

Talking about all the My Hero Academia lessons, Tanjiro didn't need to take, one he does need to take just like Deku learned , is to not break his body while fighting. Right now he said he is figthing with a broken leg & rib

He won multiple times? Damn, Demon Slayer fans are out of their minds, I don't get it.

BRus019

Season 1 Zenitsu gotta be one of the most annoying characters in all of anime

KuroOberon

my favourite character arrives!! and glad you arent hating zenitsu so far, he gets a lot of flack (which i get), but i really enjoy him. also what subs are you using? some of these lines are definitely off from what they were when i watched on funimation, specifically with the boar head guy, his lines here seemed a lot cheesier and less "cool" than the version im used to

kingafreund

And we're three for three with the maze, haha! But seriously, lots of great stuff in here, like that spot on assessment of both the new additions and the potential they bring for a group dynamic going forward. Or the comedy. I snorted so hard at both the riveting conversations thing and when you failed Hero candidate Tanjiro immediately after praising him, omg! I'm also glad you weren't turned off by Zenitsu's antics, but I should expect no less from someone who saw through Bakugo from the very beginning. I do think the whining is his way of dealing with the stress, like, speaking about all the terrible things that could happen helps ground him because he prepares himself for the worst that way? I def get "I'm here, but I don't have to like it" vibes from him. I think it doesn't bother me because it's a very relatable reaction, I find it refreshing instead, because it's almost like he's the only normal one? I know I wouldn't be a stoic badass in his situation.

Geneva The Weeba

"It's time to watch this guy beg for love, which is, relatable, to be honest," "This always works, it ALWAYS works. If you want a girl to love you, just get down on your knees, and cry, and beg," "I'm very excited to see what blond kid has to offer, and he's made a great impression on me already," (I FREAKING CALLED THAT GOODWIN WOULD LIKE ZENITSU HELL YEAH) "But who could forget the sparrow though?" "This guy could take some lessons from Sokka about aloofness," "I like this guy's energy. He's honest, self-honesty," "You know what I have experienced? Debt and loneliness. Those are not fun. Especially the loneliness part," "Love, food, money. I get it," "This monster's got a nice house; what does he do for a living?" "I'm *sure* he's alright," "Tanjiro's take: You good, bro?" "That's a huge relief. This guy no longer matters," (IT'S 12:30 AND I LAUGHED SO HARD) "Oh no, we gave you a responsibility, you're supposed to be watching the box!" "Rareblood. New term: unlocked," "Is it a mask, or is it his face?" *nods in agreement at Zenitsu's assessment of girls* "Love him or hate him, you at least know who he is,"

Musicisum

jfc I forgot how much I hate Zenitsu... character aside, his voice just gives me a headache
