Zenitsu: I will kill you Demon: In your dreams Zenitsu: EXACTLY! This is why sleep is so important guys... Damn that Zenitsu sequence looked INCREDIBLE tho. Ufotable doing my boy justice.

Nick Heiney

Weird that they have the translations in the eye. Where is he watching this? He was lower moon six.

Yeah people have pointed out issues with his sub version many times on different episodes. Should change to the official version with correct subs like Crunchyroll has ASAP.

Kei

Finally you see the scene where Zenitsu has the most cool power ever, and also overpowered... when he's asleep. I always love his voice when he said "Thunder Breathing, First Form. Thunderclap and Flash"

Your reaction to the Zenitsu Lightning Technique scene did not disappoint. Just get ready for more of that times 100, along with everyone else’s techniques. Some of the action so far has been impressive as you noted at the end, but ufotable somehow finds a way to keep upping the battle scenes as the series progresses. Its gotten to the point with the most recent aired episodes in Season Two where I literally can’t even comprehend how they drew it. Another awesome Demon Slayer upload! Part of me wishes you would just binge this straight through lol but Mob will be a great show to watch alongside this as they both feel very different and have almost opposite writing styles imo.

I know you’re just making jokes about the kid’s eyes and being suspicious of them lol. But that’s just the art style of this series. The big solid mostly single-colored eyes aren’t the dangerous people in this series lol. the demons have very distinctive and colorful eyes, usually reds blues and greens in the irises, and thin vertical slit like pupils. Usually.

I have physical copies of the series and it blows my mind every time I look at them how well ufotable has done with it. Especially the most recent episodes like you mentioned. Demon Slayer is an incredible series and it make me so happy that it's getting such an awesome adaptation.

"Well that made up for a bunch of his whining."

ErrantSara

Zenitsu might be a coward but one thing i think is important is that he constantly put himself between the demon and Shoichi and protected him.

Yeah I was thinking that if he were a complete coward he would have ditched the kid a long time ago

"What is it with characters in this show and announcing how much fun they're having?" "Yeah, don't step on little girls, I feel like that should be obvious," "It's like my girlfriend: if I enter the room I have to [ahem ahem] I have to like stomp into the room or sneeze or something so that she knows I'm there and doesn't get overwhelmed with fright at my existence," "Maybe he can scream it away," "That's VERY specific, but okay," "He and Nezuko will get along really well," (AHAHAHAHA) "Well that makes up for a lot of that whining/ and he kept his snot bubble intact 'til the very end. That's talent," "Are we sure this kid's not a demon?" "Anime running technique on point," "It all flows back to Michael Jackson in the end," "Pretty open-and-shut case, no? Monster came. Monster dragged. Monster almost ate," "Exposition crow has arrived," "And the smile on his face! All Might would be so proud. Deku was the wrong choice. Where was Tanjiro when you needed him?" "Play-Doh reenactment," "When I think about wavering emotionally, I think of my friend Zenitsu, and it makes me wanna be better," "What-there's no secret this episode? What? So robbed,"

Geneva The Weeba

I DID IT Y'ALL I'M CAUGHT UP AGAIN!!! (Side note, psst, hey Nick, I finished season 1 of Re:Zero. Oh my GOSH. onto season 2)

"this is why sleep is so important" says the person who said to me, and I quote-as I am wont to do- "If you can't watch 3 Goodwin videos at 2am, can you really call yourself a hero? " LMAO

Chris Sharpe

It’s interesting the trick behind the sleep powerup. It’s actually not a powerup at all, it’s just that Zenitsu’s nerves keep him from using his full power. And he uses his hearing to allow him to fight with his eyes closed.

Athena

Reason 1 on why I love Zenitsu: His sword style is cool as fuck. Also I find it funny how every reactor that watches this episode makes a video game comment on the Tanjiro vs drum demon lol

kingafreund

It always cracks me up that Tanjiro's inner weakness sounds like Zenitsu, pfft! Jokes aside though, I think he's the kind of person that thrives when others, especially those weaker than him, be it physically or mentally, rely on him? He draws strength from it rather than buckle under the weigth of expectation, and that's a really cool quality.

Zenitsu really do be the GOAT. And he only continues to get dramatically more likable and cool as the series progresses.

Brimmy

and that's why we all love and hate zenitsu XD also there's another translation where they say Marechi instead of rareblood which makes way more sense when they explain what it is like yes if u say rareblood its gonna mean uncommon blood ffs I am also VERY late hello o.o

Melon Soda

Zenitsu and Inosukes English voices honestly sound identical to their Japanese voices
