This cour has mostly been a motley group of episodes, but the next one will be a couple longer arcs back to back. Should be nice.

Yeah, it seemed like these episodes were mostly "laying the groundwork."

I definitely lost interest in the show. I felt the first 3 eps had a really nice setup and it kind of stalled after that, I honestly haven’t watched since around ep 7

@Steve Same Steve. I dropped it after episode 8 when the incest brother character got introduced. The show had such a great start and than just totally stopped bringing the banger episodes after ep 4 or 5 :/

@Steve. @benj True, true. But as a manga reader, it will bring a lot more in the next cour and the next season. All of the wholesomeness and comedy of this one, plus more action and stakes, and faster pacing. We are just getting started.

@Chris If there is anymore of Yor's nazi spy siscon brother I am not interested lol... hopefully Loid kills him in the near future.

@benj He appears in a few isolated chapters, but I only need one hand to count the amount, plus the sis con thing isn’t as emphasized. Also (Light spoilers) there’s a funny chapter where Yuri is forced to babysit Anya, that is very funny. He is not a very important character.

@Chris That's good to hear. If people really hype up part 2 again when it comes out I'll watch the rest of part 1 and watch it weekly again.

“I think if you put together all the clips of me talking about how terrible school is, it would probably be something like 1000 hours at this point,” “Anya’s gaming the system in her way,” “What can we do with her love for manga and TV?” “There’s a sort of muscle memory for emotion,” “Something involving literature. I feel like that’s not too great of a leap,” (i am looking away) “She did both. She made an excuse *and* she did the right thing,” “There’s no lifeguard on duty? What kind of negligence is this?” “This little boy is just in shock. For just, so many reasons. I mean, he’s also dying,” “It’s so terrifying and cute at the same time,” “Don’t forget to worship your academic superiors on your way in,” “That’s all, just you know, a house. A tank,” “You better BELIEVE I got that part. There was no other way to get that playstation,” “I ended up getting fired from that role anyway, but already had the PlayStation, so actually it was the best possible outcome cause I suddenly had all this free time to play games,” “Does Dog 2 have like, psychic visions of the future?” “We’ve got the wife, that’s cool, but have you gotten yourself a dog?”
