Ravik's bio is something that still needs more refinement (so definitely look forward to his bio having the same treatment as the party members) but as for now, I'll give you a bit of info on him.

Ravik is basically an older brother figure for Asher, he is protective and stern but also playful with him. He was the one that taught Asher how to defend himself when they were younger since Asher was often picked on by others. Ravik and Lena were the only kids that defended asher so they naturally became best friends. While Asher's feelings for Ravik are crystal clear, how Ravik feels about Asher is a bit more complicated but it will be addressed in time. He is great with the sword and he has been training hard for the Durashonia's army trials, wanting to become a knight
and make his family proud.

Ravik has tentatively Air Magh / elemental affinity. His design has far more prominent classic fantasy elements but it also incorporates a few elements from Mayan culture like his arm protector being inspired by Mayan warrior attire.

The rejected design on the bottom is one I really liked but I don't think it fits Ravik's Vibe or Backstory so it might be repurposed for another character later on.

Thank you! and great question. so far the magic system is conformed by 3 rings. The primary elements: Fire, Earth, Water, and Air. The secondary elements: Lighting, Poison, Steel, Ice The convergence element: Darkness It's worth saying that the elements in the secondary and third ring/rank are only attainable by elemental combinations while the primary elements are the ones commonly found as innate affinities in people and the world. You might wonder why if there is Darkness there is no Light element in the elemental rings, well there is a lore reason for that being the case but light as an element/affinity does exist it is just not part of the Magh (Adam) elemental system.

Hmm, you did say that human souls have an opposite polarity to Adams soul fragments. But considering that old humanity wasn't able to use magic, I theorize that Light either comes from the similar but different entities as Adam you mentioned or that they need some kind of "key" to tap into their inner light.

Correct! About humanity's lack of magic, well I'll just say that there were figures in history that were "supposedly" mages/or wizards like Merlin for example (which is more legend than historical but it is wishy-washy) so I wouldn't say it is impossible, but it is very uncommon for humans to tap into their "Light" in order to use magic. So yes human souls are fragments of light (and yes the light comes from a divine place entity of similar nature to adam) but as you theorize is not easy to canalize it, if not almost impossible, so your "key" assumption is correct, that's one of the keys of (heaven/hell) functions. As an extra note, Light as an element is extremely versatile and malleable, so it can easily be fragmented/decomposed in various forms that could in some way imitate primary elements. this is a concept that will be explained further when I introduce the "Bloom forms" and the "Lightbringer" Concepts as well as talking about how the keys work. Also, I love you so much ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ cuz you always make connections and theorize a lot with all the info I give you, I really appreciate the attention to all the details I have shared and it is always fascinating to me see you come closer to hidden truths and another important concepts and lore of Arcadia.

Mayan inspired, nice. We def need more of that. I do like the red design. But they're all nice. If this actually ever becomes a game, they could all be alternate skins. :P

Your designs are already top tier, but combined with all the story and lore and how many of my brainrot boxes you tick off, you giving me all this additional information every time I ask stuff is just the final nail in the coffin for me. So yeah, I am obsessed with Arcadia Nights and all its characters, for better or for worse.
