Concept Art 010: Water Bloom Form (Patreon)

This one did take me quite a bit to figure out, I tried multiple changes once I got the prototype cuz I knew I could push it further into something better and after I did, I gotta say I'm pretty happy with the result!

I had Mysterious and elegant in mind while making him. The original flower I was using for reference was delphinium but the shapes started to stray away from that idea and then I started using corals as the theme, which then gave him the Name of Zoanthus, a type of choral that looks like a flower. Other than that, he does have multiple characteristics of sea life in his design like jellyfish for the skirt/ tails and the fin-like motifs all around.

I might save Delphinium as an option for Kaius' Flower /bloom form although I really want Kaius's bloom form to look badass and distinct from Asher's water form so we will see what I end up going for. Fun fact: Zoanthus' design was inspired by Raziel from Soul Reaver.

Next Week I'll be showing you Earth and Wind Bloom forms!
