Concept Art 014: Iblis Bythos Requiem (Patreon)

Finally, I can show this big bad boy, the previous form you saw of Iblis was designed first but while I was making some concept art of the end-of-the-world scenario (which ill show you tomorrow), I represented Iblis more like the devil in the Mythos painting I showed you, more demon and monster-like.

Requiem is inspired by entities like Bahamut, Diabolos(ff), Devilman(Amon), and the Evangelion Unit 01.

I consider that the previous Iblis you have seen is the main one that has reappeared in Arcadia many times (but people never saw him from close so it was normal for them to depict it like a monster) while this Requiem version is the definitive form, one that has been powered up thanks to the gigantic amount of souls harvested by Adam and maybe also thanks to the eyes of the universe. I doubt that's the case (the eyes of the universe) because I think he transforms into this phase before opening the gates, but I'll think more about it.
