The forge never truly rests.

With July now halfway done, I thought it was a good time to share where the Evil Dwarf range is heading over the next few months. While I won't spoil every surprise, I wanted to give you a glimpse of the next chapters in the growing Evil Dwarf army.

August – Veterans of the Legion

The focus shifts to the hardened veterans of the legion.

Elite Infantry

Army Standard Bearer

The goal with this release is simple: when you look across the battlefield, there should be no mistaking who the elite warriors are. More ornate armor, imposing silhouettes and plenty of modular options will allow you to build units worthy of standing at the heart of your legion.

This also fills two more slots in the core army list.

Thank you to those who contributed their ideas in the teaser Elites post - spiky, bigger beards, chainmail cloaks, and more besides will be making their way into the designs.

September – Darkness & Fury

September ventures into darker territory.

Sorcerous Winged Beast

Furnace Cults: Crimson Grail

The second Furnace Cult arrives. These fanatical warriors draw upon distilled divine power, embracing a brutal, berserk way of war that is as dangerous to themselves as it is to their enemies.

Alongside them comes one of the most iconic creatures associated with the Evil Dwarfs, reimagined in the MeshyMesh style.

October – Conquest & Mercenaries

October brings another centerpiece to the battlefield.

The Siege Giant

And the Evil Dwarfs don't always march to war alone.

Beady little eyes.

Cheeky grins.

I'll leave it at that... for now.

And There's More...

As always, the headline releases are only part of the story.

Throughout the coming months you can also expect:

Exclusive Patreon kits

Furnace Cult additions

Community-inspired releases

Conversion packs

Upgrade packs

Additions to existing kits

One of the things I enjoy most about MeshyMesh is that many of the smaller releases begin with conversations right here on Patreon. The recent polls and discussions have already influenced what you'll see in the months ahead, and I'm sure there will be more ideas that find their way from the comments into future releases.

The roadmap shows where the legion is marching, but it's not carved in stone. The community continues to help shape the finer details, and that's exactly how I want this project to grow.

...And All the While...

Something BIG is being forged.

It's still too early to say much more, but it's been quietly taking shape in the background for some time now. I'm incredibly excited to share it when the time is right.

Until then, thank you all for your continued support, ideas and enthusiasm. Every month the Evil Dwarf range grows a little larger and a little more complete - and it's brilliant having you all along for the journey.

Now... back to the forge.

MeshyMesh Miniatures

I think I’d really like to but the 28mm scale is keeping me busy. I love 10mm scale gaming however so no doubt I’ll be drawn in at some point
