July Forge Master Exclusive – Burning Idol Seated Rider (Patreon)

One little extra before July comes to a close.

Available now to all Forge Masters is a seated rider option for the Burning Idol which sits neatly on the same carapace that the throne would sit on.

One of the goals with the Burning Idol was to make it feel like a true centrepiece, and while the throne version gives you the flexibility to swap heroes on and off between games, I also wanted to offer a more traditional mounted rider for those who prefer a permanently mounted character.

Like the rest of the Evil Dwarf range, the seated rider has been designed with modularity in mind.

The seated body is compatible with the existing:

Heads

Shoulder armor

Arms

Hands

The torso itself is fixed to the saddle to achieve a much more natural riding pose, so it isn't interchangeable with the standing torso options. I think it's a worthwhile trade-off, as it creates a far more convincing mounted character while still giving you plenty of opportunities to personalize the final model.

Whether you're building a mighty legion commander, an ancient Fellsmith or something entirely your own, there are plenty of ways to make this rider unique.
