The Lamassu & Fellsmith Arrive September 1st (Patreon)

Ancient. Sorcerous. Manipulative.

September's Darkness & Fury releases continue with the arrival of the Evil Dwarf Lamassu & Fellsmith, available September 1st for all Forge Adepts and Masters.

Where the Burning Idol represents brute strength and infernal industry, the Lamassu is something very different.

This is an ancient creature of intelligence and sorcery, a beast capable of manipulating those around it with magic, whispers and silvered words.

Even the Fellsmith sitting upon its back may not truly be its master.

The Lamassu

I wanted this creature to have a very different silhouette from the other great beast in the range.

Rather than another raging monster, the Lamassu sits almost majestically, wings unfurled, looking down upon those around it.

Its lean body, clawed limbs and ancient Evil Dwarf-like face are intended to suggest something whose greatest weapon isn't physical strength.

The kit includes:

1 x Lamassu Body

1 x Lamassu Head

2 x Wings

3 x Tail Options

Lion

Mace

Scorpion

There's also some fun compatibility with the Burning Idol.

Scale the Lamassu head to 113% and it can be used on the Burning Idol. Likewise, Burning Idol heads can be scaled to 85% for use on the Lamassu. Because sooner or later, someone is going to create something wonderfully horrible with those options.

The Fellsmith

Riding atop the Lamassu is another Fellsmith to add to your collection.

The kit includes:

1 x Body

2 x Head Variants

2 x Arms

2 x Shoulder Armour

1 x Claw Hand

1 x Staff

His pose and expression deliberately play into the relationship between rider and beast.

Is he commanding the Lamassu?

Or has the Lamassu convinced him that he is?

As always, the Fellsmith's heads, arms and shoulder armour are compatible with components from across the existing Evil Dwarf range, giving you plenty of options to customise him.

The kit also includes:

50x75mm Square Base

90x52mm Round Base

September – Darkness & Fury

September is shaping up to be a particularly characterful month for the Evil Dwarf range.

Forge Adepts and above

Furnace Cults: Wrathforged Berserkers

Lamassu & Fellsmith

Two very different expressions of the Evil Dwarf legion.

One driven completely mad by distilled divine wrath.

The other intelligent enough to make everyone around it question who is really pulling the strings.

Both arrive September 1st.

Darkness & Fury is almost here.
