One scene I'm kinda glad they changed is Tywin's funeral. Because Tyrion shot him in the guts, on the privy, his corpse started to bloat and stink in the books. The stench was enough to make people gag, and in the middle of the ceremony, he kinda... burst, you could say. Tommen vomited, people fled the church, it was an entirely too realistic and disgusting affair xD

Cersei may have resented her father but she didn't hate him, and familial love aside, she definitely needed him. The Tyrells are making a power play, trying to manipulate her son to favor them, and Tywin was the main power keeping them in check. Also, the House of Dorn already hated the Lanisters for killing their princess and her children back in Robert's Rebellion, now the Lanisters have killed their beloved prince in his duel with the mountain, that's not going to make them friendlier. There's also a Dragon Queen on the horizon as well as every other person with ambition who will use Tywin's death to their advantage. Cersei now has to deal with that all by herself, so yea, she's definitely not happy dad is dead.
