While technically a filler season and the Orange Islands being less of a league championship (no brackets ect) I always liked as a kid how ash shows growth after season 1 and eas able to win his albeit smaller challenge the next season after 1. Personally though Jhoto (season 3) is arguably my favorite to this day and can't wait to see you experience a whole new pokemon world! (breaks out into a disney singalong)

I agree with PKKite, Ash has grown a bit as a trainer now, he actually uses a little bit of strategy in his fights now. We'll officially be in Gen 2 pretty soon, I'm looking forward to it, the series will make some much needed... course corrections soon, we'll also start to see a lot or new Pokemon and characters because of it.
