The guy shouting "Burn them all" was Aerys, The Mad King aka Dany and Viserys' father aka the king Jaime Lannister killed by stabbing him in the back and cutting his throat which earned him the nickname "King Slayer" Bran's mind was basically downloading the entire world's history. Sam's family as a whole are good people, just his father is a lot like Tywin, Balon, and Roose; terrible dads all around!
