since it's the end of the Orange Islands I should probably say something about Tracey... but honestly... I don't have much to say, he was (is), a pretty nothing character, he was brought in because the production studio was worried Americans would perceive Brock as a stereotype (the Orange Islands started just a few months after the English dub began for the anime). Tracey himself is pretty empty as a character, he lacked any definable characteristic besides sketching, unlike Brock who was really well defined and likeable, and they never did much to define him. I half suspect the staff weren't given much notice that Brock needed replacing due to potential American backlash, because when I've said Tracey is basically a background character design I literally mean it, his design including the headband popped up twice before in the first season as 2 separate background characters, so it probably was a partial rush job, (I do wonder if it was partially intentional on the anime staff because they wanted Brock back, Tracey did only last 33 episodes, and 1 film about half a year before he was gone) thankfully the studio listened to fans and brought Brock back. Sorry that was so long lol, well, tomorrow we finally go to the Johto region (Regions are basically what Pokemon calls different countries more or less)

THE GOOSH!

Yea, there just never seemed to be any real motivation in anything about Tracey's creation or character.
