These two were an interesting crossover from Picard Land! I think Q could make things significantly more challenging for all!

Q is genuinely a really fun character, I won't go into too much detail just in case Star Trek TNG is ever sponsored or wins a poll, but John de Lancie (Q's actor) is an utter delight lol, he's a character you should kind of hate at times, he's an arrogant godlike being who likes to play with people, but his arrogance kind of makes him fun and charming at the same time, plus he can actually back up his claims, he's not all talk, he genuinely is that powerful and dangerous, but he chooses to spend his time testing Picard, it's a fun dynamic I hope you can see one day. He only made a one off appearance in DS9 unfortunately, he's too busy tormenting Picard and a certain other character from another Star Trek series, I've always seen it as he got in a fight with Sisko once, was knocked down, and never came. Overall I think the episode is a lot of fun, John de Lancie is a treat of an actor, but if I had one criticism of the episode, I feel like most of the main cast outside of Quark aren't really active participants, they're there, but they don't contribute too much. That's not much of a problem for me, I like Q, and I think Quark and Vash's dynamic is fun (she has better on screen chemistry with Quark then Picard funnily enough), but in retrospect I feel like Sisko should have been in it a bit more.

Q was immediately a fascinating character to me, as I both kinda wanted to pinch him, but also wanted him on-screen as much as possible. 😄
