That was another really fun one, the Romeo and Juliet arc was used for the trailer and reveal poster when they first announced and started promoting season 2, I mean you can see why, they put a lot of effort into adapting it perfectly from the manga, there's so much heart put into the remake. It's Ranma and Akane's first kiss as well (well, because of the tape only technically lol), so it should have a lot of effort in it. I keep saying it, but you can feel Ranma and Akane's feelings for each other develop a lot more naturally in the remake (again, because they actually adapted it faithfully from the manga this time), both of them are definitely stubborn characters, but they can also be innocently honest at times, like Ranma admitting that it wouldn't be so hard to kiss Akane if he didn't have feelings for her, cute. Oh, little note, that actually was booze Ranma (when he was dressed as Juliet) and Kuno was drinking in the manga, Ranma was tipsy and swaying about in the fight, but they've censored it in the remake, probably because of TV standards I would guess.

They have to censor the silliest things! 😄 And yea, the Ranma-Akane ‘ship is being paced and handled SO perfectly!
