Yet another really good character story! I like Sekigahara... And I REALLY like the deceased school nurse!

I wanted to laugh when you ended the last video talking about how you wanted to see more of Nurse Morimura, knowing what was coming next, lol. We're finally out of the prologue, and there's a lot to go over... I wanted to show you a little of everything, but I'm gonna say don't worry about the Mystery Files. (I've seen many a new player get excited about them and then feel kind of let down. They're not Supposed to reveal anything new. It's more like an in-game notebook to keep track of what you've Already discovered through the story mode. And you've got us for that.) Also in the Analysis tab, the game actually does put all the events into chronological order for you. Which might be cool to revisit at the end but isn't something we need to think about for a looooong time... On the topic of chronology, it'll be helpful to remember that the characters' story modes aren't all taking place at the same time. So, like, you can deduce that Ei's story takes place after Iori's, because hers starts with their first meeting, when she bumps into him and drops her ID card... And by the time his starts, they've already had a whole adventure together and grown close, even if he doesn't remember it. Throughout, you'll see some scenes multiple times, but from different characters' perspectives, which can help you place what's happening where in the greater timeline. I wanted to start with Ei's first event, because the reveal of what the Aegis system actually does felt like the perfect note to end on... but now it'll be a while before we unlock him again. (A lot of people get locked behind Natsuno's 'Exterminator' event. It's one of the big ones.) On the character selection screen, there's a little blurb above each character's head, reminding you of what was going on in their story the last time you saw them. ...I am already proving to be pretty bad about remembering to pause on that before we start. I'll probably just let you know which characters we'll be spending time with ahead of each session, so you can refresh yourself, if needed. It's a beautiful mindfuck of a game, but watching people try to puzzle it out is half the fun! (I'll try not to edit out too much of the battles, but I'll definitely do the upgrades off screen, just to save on time.) The story truly starts now. Brace yourself. And have fun!

THE GOOSH!

This has already been a really entertaining run! And as I mentioned in the vid, I really like Ei’s story!
