Dragonball Super time travel is 100% bonkers and nonsensical. Black/Zamasu only exists as a villain because of his battle with Goku...but Goku was already dead in Future Trunks' timeline. So none of this actually makes sense.

Ok it’s time to clear things up. The Dub FUCKED the no kissing scene right up. The joke is that Goku was referring to how Trunks gave Mai the Senzu bean not the kiss itself. Vegeta misunderstands and as you can tell a lot more people miss understood that as well. The Dub as you saw didn’t help in the slightest.

it does Zamasu took the body from the Goku of his timeline.. then travelled to the Future Trunks timeline and told that Zamasu about Goku.. Zamasu already hated mortals before he met Goku.. so Zamasu of the Future Trunks timeline wished to be invincible since Goku was already dead

There are 3 timelines now. Black's timeline, "the future," and "the past." Zamasu became Black in timeline #1, travelled to #2 whereupon Zamasu #2 wished for immortality. Trunks then flees to #3, our home timeline, for help.
