Kittan was a great character who - if he had to go out - certainly did it in the manner of a true badass!...I hope we aren't losing any more people, though!

R.I.P 2 of the most manly men/the two people Yoko ever kissed and just so happened to be right before they died

My favorite thing is they always call the old crew Bozos

I said it early in the series, but now you see why Kittan is one of my favorite side characters. He was never held to the same levels as Kamina or Simon, but at the end you see his eyes and how they've changed to represent his spiral power. Then theres the fact that he did his own Giga Drill Breaker. He went out like a badass.

The next two episodes are among the best finales of any show I've ever seen.

I totally disagree. That was the best. the two men than Yoko fell for were never meant to be with her. They both had a destiny themselves. Both to die in a way that so bad ass and hope inspiring its almost OK that they couldn't be together.

Funnily enough, 'Later buddy' were Kamina's last words.

Kitan going out after going all out with spiral power is one of my favorite scenes. That and Jorgun and Balinbow going out while laughing like bad ass maniacs

Goosebumps every time I see this episode

MONDAY CANT COME QUICK ENOUGH!!!!

Tony Gilbert King

If you can go out laughing you've lived a good life

I know I've expressed that "Open Fire!" guy was my favourite extra. But Kitan right from the get-go was always very endearing to me. The cocky tough guy is probably one of my favourite character types. I'm sad to see him go (I really wanted him to go back to Earth with Yoko and meet the kids. If they made like a non-canon OVA or something that showed him doing that, I would totally watch it. Damn you kiss of death, why couldn't it have been something like "First night together of death" or something?)

I always get goosebumps during kittan’s giga drill and galaxy Gurren Lagann.

I have seen this episode quite a few times now and i still just sit there smiling with tears running down my cheeks. It is so good, but it also hurts

Rough as it is, the lesson of the episode is: No matter how tempting it is, don't fall for and especially don't kiss Yoko. For if you do, you have at most 24 hours to live.

Libera Me From Hell is such a manly song that it turned my soy decaf pumpkin-spice latte into black coffee in a viking mug with an american flag painted on it.

Matthew Budgell

Damn. Kittan was by far my favourite character. Very fitting way to go out though. A badass until the very end.
