What a fantastic conclusion to a stunningly good series! I love the fact that 17 saved EVERYONE one more time with his wish! For me, DBS proves why Dragon Ball deserves its legendary status.

Yousef khanagha

oooh 22 minutes huh, I sense a full length episode reaction

Ryan McKeon

17: Please restore all the universes....... besides Ribriane's

Joey Visser

and thus one chapter closes, and a new one opens, until next time Dragonball Super :)

Akettaja The Finnish Moron

Watching this with Curtis has really made me see Super in a new light. When I was watching it, I would always read the spoilers and that made me be harder on it. So, yeah. I really had fun this time.

Subaru130

While there were some things about this tournament that felt like a cop out such as having the Zeno plan on erasing the universes from the beginning as opposed to Goku being the catalyst or them doing it in the first place because they predicted that the last person would make an unselfish wish, I at least appreciate that this is kind of a continuation of the theme from the Future Trunks arc. Just as Zamasu did, the Zeno perceived that there might be a problem with the mortals, but the Zeno prefer to be optimistic and hope that things can change thanks to mortals like Goku and 17 while Zamasu was pessimistic and thought that all mortals had to be destroyed. When you think about it, if the mortals failed the Zeno's test, the Zeno would have literally done what Zamasu was planning only even worse because they would have erased everything instead of just the mortals.

Curtis man you have a magic about you. I've been a dragonball fan for 21 years, loved every bit of it. But watched it including super so many times growing up I can say line for line. When I watch you react to these it makes me love them again as if for the first time. And yuyu is tied for dragonball as my favorite anime so I can't wait to see this again with you :)

Makhi Simms

You gotta watch the broly movie

Miklar Sihn

Curtis, i will support you in the idea that you should watch the original dragonball. It is my favorite dragonball series.

AyBe

We need a Broly movie reaction!

Sarkkoth

You should try watching the new Broly movie. It's canon to the anime and really good.

Miklar Sihn

I really like that goku and frieza took him out in the forms they had at the end of the namek saga. Frieza in his final form and goku in super saiyan

Miklar Sihn

Is it bad that the first thing i though when goku said "I wanna see you again" was "You're married dude."

Daniel Turner

A shame can’t react to broly movie

Anonymous

You definitely need to watch the original Dragon Ball here– what you’ve seen in clips is just the tip of the iceberg!

Brother E

Curtis where would you rank 17 on your favorite characters list?

Anonymous

I have always love the final go around, especially the ending bits. Goku jumping off the pillar, and his hair kept going on and off of super saiyan. It's like here he is drained, and yet he is still barely scraping enough power to be a super saiyan. Also did you noticed the area and stance Goku and Vegeta took? Its where they first fought.

Raiouz

first of all i am super glad you had a fun time with a series that i love dearly , having a shared experience i feel has really upped my enjoy ability with this series as if it couldn't get any goddamn higher , i had fun and i am glad to see you did! your moving on to yu yu ? great! that is another one of my favorites and i look forward to watching along with you again ! side note ( when you can , make sure you watch the broly movie and let us know your thoughts !, make plenty of notes ! )

Anonymous

Man i love dragon ball super. And the last episode uploaded on my birthday, going to miss watching the series :'(

THE GOOSH!
>>20514296

Thank you, My Friend. I really appreciate that!... As much as I've grown to love anime, I know it wouldn't have had NEARLY the impact on me if I wasn't getting to enjoy it with you guys. :-)

THE GOOSH!
>>20515531

Not sure yet... I kinda gotta let everything I saw sink in, then try and come up with rankings.

18 made me upset this episode asking 17 if he was sure of the wish. You're litteraly friends with 2 of the richest people on earth and you have your own danm dragonballs. If your brother wants to save 7 universes, don't fucking stop him!

PKKite

Now from universe destroying battles to something a little more spiritual. Get it. Also HIGHLY recommend the dub still for yu yu

Brandon Everett

Yeah they would have been fine if the wish went to 17 or goku. If it was Freeza than we’d have been fucked.

Antiquity

Buu would have been op and a writing nightmare.

Anonymous

It was a pleasure watching all over again with you my friend, thank you

MBT play Ghostricks

A cool Easter egg that idk if you picked up on. When freeza says he won’t stop his evil ways, it cuts to goku saying they’ll stop him again, and shows goku, gohan, piccolo, vegeta and krillin. The 5 that fought freeza on namek back in dbz

Aidan

Nurufufufu i don't care what anyone says about jiren but he's a true beast because even after all that fighting with perfect ultra instinct goku, he still had enery to fight a 3 on 1 assault between a final form frieza, a weakened yet strong goku and a android with infinite energy and it still took two of them to eliminate him, if that's not being a beast i don't know what is. Oh and if you would have told me a long time ago that their would come a time where goku and frieza would fight together against a common enemy, i would have laughed at your face and told that that would never happened and it did happen. Great reaction again and I'm glad you enjoyed the series curtis but now it's time for one of the all time greats yu yu hakusho.

astherphoenixxx96

thanks so much for this curtis! that goku vegeta pose at the very end sends chills. same spirit, but the characters have evolved so much

CrossZ

It was a fun ride. I saw the DBS Broly movie not too long ago but I still feel like its been forever since I saw these guys

Garlic

Idk if anyone already pointed it out but when vegeta and goku were fighting at the end the place and poses they made were the same as when they first fought in the beginning of dragon ball z.

Darryl Robson

Seeing Goku and Frieza work together like this was unreal for people who grew up with the series and remember their legendary fight. Still, as great a moment as it is, it feels super contrived; there's no way in hell base form Goku, Frieza and 17 should have been able to damage Jiren in any way, who is way stronger than he was even when he was taking on SSJ Blue Goku + Vegeta. They had to randomly make Jiren 100x weaker than he actually is to make this ending happen.

V_VMat

I really like Vegeta's facial expression when he sees Goku and Frieza fight together against Jiren. Also the ending scene where Goku and Vegeta fight, they take the same poses they had when they fought first time in DBZ. It's small details like this that really amp the fan aspect of long series and one can even miss them when first watching (like I probably did)

The manga went past this point in the story. It is slowly setting up one more villain & it looks like buu will play a big part, given that they originally wanted super to line up with the ending of Z where uub starts his training to in a way take the place of goku. I think something needs to happen to buu to make uub strong enough to take goku's place or this villain may also remove something from the universe to help the story line up.

Lewd Angel

Well this was a fun ride, hopefully we can get you to watch Dragon Ball Heroes sometime soon, we'll see about that in the next polls.

Daniel Gonzalez

Super was made for the fans and vegeta is the ultimate racist believing in the power of his own race while accepting of others he knows how amazing humans are he married one and his son is half earthling oh and his daughter too but seriously he's come so far even though I love Dragonball Z if you watch the other shows I recommend Dragonball first then Z although some might be turned off by the fact it's more of an adventure series with fighting as opposed to later Z which is basically all about the power levels and fights I still love it and we meet all the og characters and yamcha before he's a joke also technically I think it was originally one series called Dragonball but they added the Z for western audiences but now it's stuck since they have manga collectors editions of Dragonball and Dragonball Z which I'm of course buying when I have the cash which brings me to a point I've wanted to ask if it's ok with the gooshers 100 how about a combined tier on some of the shows you have the goosher100reactions like a support option where we can team up to support a current 100reaction I feel the more frequently you react the better it is in the case of some shows for instance 100 some months is hard for me but if we can support gooshers with 4 25 spots or even 2 50 contributions even with my other preorder commitments I think I can participate more and you have some great series right now in mob psoycho and samurai champloo I feel kinda bad to ask you to consider this but you could include options for these special tiers on which show they wanted to support but if the 100s aren't cool with this forget I asked I was just thinking of cranking episodes out at a faster pace that people had a passion for but if I overstepped my bounds let me know people and the only defense I can muster is I blame it on the alcohol (pretend my voice is autotuned because unlike tpain I can't sing without it)

Meelog Malterion

This fights changed my mind a little bit about not liking super that much....but now im sad that these scenes even once Dubbed wont have Bruce falconers scores theyl re use this same fight music from these pieces.....I can Scarcely imagine which theme would be used here since I cant recall a fight like this in the Original DBZ those fights had alot of animations replaced with those shockwaves to show how fast everyone was moving and the action didnt last this long it was like short bursts and the epic music lasted seconds....maybe its a good thing that Bruce falconer isnt here....cause it may not have worked out so well...maybes whats good for the previous generation may not be so good for the next with different art styles and updated animations tropes and choreography for the fights the same themes may not of plied too well...but those are just my thoughs

Gabriel Phipps

Anyone else enjoy the scene of frieza being used as a punching bag by Jiren?

Anonymous

Ik he cant post the broly movie but will he watch it on his own time?

Brandon Nowakowski

Yessss. Finally Yu-Yu Hakusho time! Here's hoping that you watch the dub since it's got great voices and some really funny one-liners.

Daniel

Im really excited for YYH. You're going to love it so much

Corey Dillon

Curtis, please react to the Broly movie once it's released on Blu-ray or dvd. You wont regret it.

Jorge

Although i and everyone here would absolutely love a reaction to dbs broly. I know it's a difficult request for you to fulfill, all the same. If you could at least watch it in your own time and do a review video, that would be an acceptable option B.

Anonymous

Watch the original dragon ball either after one piece or after the other series anime that you already planned on watching because you seem interested in it and I would love to see you reaction to it because probably half of the people who watch your videos grew up on dragon ball I think you would love to see how everyone came together

Master Gamataifu

I want to see One Piece, og Dragon Ball, and Bleach on this channel the most.

Sean Nelson

As everyone else says go watch broly. Reaction review whatever its amazing best fight in dragonball animation wise
