THAT is Alvida?! Holy shit!... Plus, who or what is that face at the end?!... And I'm even more confused about where Captain Smoker stands!... There are so many fascinating things yet to be fleshed out!

Well well well, you finally figured it out. Shes the biggest villain in all of One piece.

LordNoLife

Day 51 of my oath: I a 22 year old man do solemnly swear to mention how many episode we are away from catching up to one piece on every single episode that Curtis reacts to and I do not care how long that takes. And on that note: We are 830 away from catching up,

Brother E

I love this episode & the significance of how Luffy keeps lucking out off situations. It’s like how Smoker states the phenomenon, “it’s like God himself is watching over Luffy”, this really emphasized that Luffy is not an ordinary protagonist he’s someone with a greater purpose.

Jojoekage

Who the hell was that ? Answer:"A fucking badass"

I agree, and its way better than Narutos or Avatars "The chosen one" thing.

Schmul Sjifris

This entire episode was in the manga:) So the comparison to Roger brought up by Smoker here is fully canon

Valrenas

All I can say about that guy at the end is never, ever forget that face

Rob

No Body Tell Him, Let him get it.

Middleman850

Well he found out who the hot girl was. The greatest mystery of One Piece has been solved.

Anonymous

The guy at the end is important, but don't worry it's not for a LONG time

interested party

you could see curtis's mind stall as he tried to process alvida saying she hadn't changed

Jonny Goosh

Usopp can suddenly run with the giant fish because the Going Merry is in danger. That ship is very very important to him because it's a gift from Kaya.

Good point... That Kaya connection seems like it would be of utmost importance to Usopp. :-)

MarvelKnight101

He has finally arrived! The stage is set for the grand line and with no break to keep it from happening!! Whose that mysterious man at the end? Can Luffy and the Straw Hats escape the island? What new challenges will prevent themselves? Find out next time on... ONE PIECE! I’m Hype!

Dandy

One of the best things about this episode, besides all the really cool stuff that happens, is how it lays the foundation for things that have yet to come. Next episode is gonna be super HYPE

He had a fairly badass intro. That’s really all Curtis should know. Pls don’t tell him whose important or tell him whether or not he is important soon or not

Duke

Do not underestimate the importance of any character in this show. No matter how early on they show up.

V_VMat

I didn't know it was Alvida until this episode and I pretty much had "Ace Ventura reaction" when I found out. 🤣

Johnny Kiehn

Fun fact: According to Oda, Alvida got this hot because when she ate the Sube Sube no Mi she became slippery, so all her excess fat just "slipped right off"...

AceOfSerberit

Dont' worry Curtis, your'e not the only one who got caught totaly blindsided by Alvida XD

DarkRaven

luffy just points to himself innocently after buggy says it is him.

vassardog

SPOILERS If i remember right wasn't bartolomeo in the crowd here?
