any one of those 500 demons Hiei killed could kill 500 Toguros

So let’s just put this in perspective. Hiei has been fighting 500 A rank demons, each of whom could beat Toguro relatively easily. Furthermore, these three Kings have 1000s of A-ranks and elite squads of S-ranks in their army who are probably each just as strong as Sensui. So, clearly we can now see how our past villains were just big fish in a small pond.

So yeah, Hiei’s a fire demon born to ice demons. We really could’ve guessed this early on cause of all his fire attacks, but it’s nice to finally get confirmation. Plus this explains how he wasn’t burned to death by that one blonde guy in the first round of the dark tournament.

They really made a SJW feminist cult in the middle of Demon World.

Man, I forgot how heart-breaking his backstory was-- tho I kinda wanted them to get to the fighting sooner!

Well, now they look like rather small fish in a really big ocean.

If you remember in the Saint Beast saga Hiei witnessed an ice-wielding demon kill a helpless teammate, which made Hiei surprisingly upset. Seeing his backstory you can understand why it touched a nerve.

Daniel Gonzalez

Aww baby Hiei is soo adorable look at his evil little smile who's gonna grow up and murder all the ice apparitions you are you are.

I don't remember if anyone brought this up back when Hiei was introduced, I came to this reaction series late, but Hiei was never supposed to come back after his fight with Yusuke. He came back because he was so popular. This is the reason we never see Hiei use his form with the eye enhancements, where he turns all green.
