Holy crap, this mask has a lot of creepy elements to it, outside of the fact that digs itself into your skull!

Important note! Sometimes there are after credits scenes. If there is one, it wont say "To be continued" at the end of the episode!

I mean, we must give him time to come to appreciate the glory that is Speedwagon.

Just a heads-up if there is no to be continued sign at the end of the episode it has an after credits scene

Amusingly the last 30 seconds of this episode is my all time favorite anime moment. Before watching JoJo I absolutely hated anime and thought people who watched it were lame. A few years ago I decided to give JoJo a try because I saw a meme about it that looked funny. At the time I assumed every anime was an annoying show about Japanese kids fighting so it was a real surprise to see JoJo being set in 1800s England. The reason the last 30 seconds of this episode are my no. 1 anime moment is because it made me change my whole view of anime. When the outro starts playing, after Dio learns the secret of the mask and there's the super dramatic return to the mansion with the storm and lightning it had me so excited to see what was about to happen when JoJo revealed himself. It hooked me forever to my JJBA obsession. It's such a small moment in the series as a whole but it will always be my favorite just because of how much it changed my perspective on anime as a whole. I still haven't watched many shows other than DBZ and Yu-Gi-Oh on tv when I was young and few classics/short modern shoes after JoJo but I don't think any of this would have been a part of my life if not for this awesome musical cliff hanger! I'm really happy Curtis is watching this show I've been hoping he would since I watched DBZA on his YouTube!

Best line from Curtis "OH"

WHOLESOME DEUS

God I love the ending theme of JoJo, roundabout by yes

Chrome

hey I've been told to remind you that episode 3 has an after credits part

vassardog

In case you dont know already, poses are kind of a thing in jojos

Some people check a pulse to see if someones dead. Dio just kicks him in the face.

I know this season isn’t as nuts or polished as the later ones but people saying it’s bad or underwhelming do it a disservice. I’ve always really liked Jonathan and the story as the set up for everything, I think this is a great prologue

Thanks, Chrome... I recorded that one today and, surprisingly, I remembered... I was so proud of myself. 😄

Sean Nelson

I chuckled at the badmouth on speedwagon. That dude is one of the top internet meme Waifus

Jake Young

Yess. You are beginning to see why Dio is the Trash-King of Trash Mountain. I love how much of an asshole he is haha.

jake

for this series does it look like the whole episode is covered in the reaction? or am i missing to much and should watch it on my own first

you should always watch things on your own first to support it! that's what curtis says at the beginning of every video!

Miklar Sihn

Let me just write this out, he was just turned into a very hungry vampire, the guy kinda did talk after he had his fill. But i do know how hard it is to give up the first thought you have when you see something and in this case it was zombie.

I think that this "season" is an absolutely amazing build up for dio's character which in my opinion is one of the greatest villains of all time.

Ben Wilder

Speedwagon is the Anti-Dio.

James

Just so you know the mask in this episode is implied to just turn you into a Vampire.
