These are the good fillers, the one's that simply give the characters time to interact, perform their roles, and have a bit of humor. I prefer these to the ones that make up an super powerful villain that conveniently no has heard of, and will go away after 10 episodes

Well, these are at least better than those garbage naruto fillers that literally ruined the pacing of the anime

One piece got those too. But later on. Naruto got good filler too. One piece is still way better. Just saying.

These are yet another set of good filler where they focus on the characters just hanging out between the larger arcs. You had the stuff with Sanjis cooking battle and Daddy the father etc. back in logue town, the sand bandits and the shenanigans in the desert with ace during alabasta, now more character development backstory type episodes of the main crew. I couldn’t care less about all but one maybe two filler arcs for you to see but I’m very glad you’re watching these episodes. I think it’s a very important touch the anime added on

I can't help but not like filler episodes on a fundamental level. They aren't canon, they don't drive the story, and just serve no real purpose.

Even if he watches one episode a day for 6 days a week one piece is going to take him like 3 years to catch up. Filler is garbage and a waste of that time.
