Gigguk is always awesomely entertaining, and these were two excellent dives into special corners of anime!

Some of the best sports anime in history were in that video.

Gigguk's videos are just so much fun to watch. The writing always feels like he just let his thoughts flow out of his mouth and he's just genuinely that funny. Which is a really pleasing takeaway from any kind of comedy sketch. (But also, I'm pretty sure he went to college and got some super complicated engineering degree... to then spend his life making anime videos on the internet, and I've just gotta respect that.)

WHOLESOME DEUS

Let's gooooo, hajime no ippo!!!! I wanna see that anime trigger your muscle memory and force you to punch afro mic

Gotta love the effort Gigguk puts into his videos.

Btw, thanks for taking on 2 videos for me Curtis. together they added up to more time than I expected. Anyway, I know you're pressed for time, and I promise to evaluate the time better in the future when recommending a video.

I just realized how strange of an entry into the anime community you are Curtis. On one hand you are a cool fan, but on the other your viewing schedule has been unnaturally slowed down. While the rest of us can just watch the newest video from gigguk, you probably cant.

I know you have a love of baseball Curtis, and so do I. In high school though, I didn't make the baseball team my sophomore year and got cut in the last day of try outs. I picked up Ace of Diamond, an anime about a kid fighting to become his school's ace pitcher and it got me remotivated to keep training for the next year. I made the team the next year, and though I never became the ace, my passion for the sport was reinvigorated. It's a bit of a long show and is still running to this day, but it is definitely a must-watch for baseball junkies! Hopefully one day I can sponsor it or it wins a poll to be a new show, because I think you'll love it too!

Also Kuroko no Basket (Kuroko's Basketball) is an absolute classic of the sports anime genre and I'm not ashamed to say that throughout watching I shed a few tears (only manly ones obviously...). It was also the first anime I was able to get my chad of a college roommate to watch, and has since gotten him hooked on anime! Really excited for you to start your sports anime journey with Haikyuu! and Hajime no Ippo and I can't wait to see where they take you!

Baseball is like a security blanket to me. When playing or watching it, I feel relaxed and like all is right with the world. 😊
