Nothing can bring people together faster than a shared hatred of people as obnoxious as the Celestial Dragons!   :-D

Luffy’s really lucky. If Boa had chosen to fight him since her sisters failed, then there is no way Luffy would’ve survived.

I can't wait for your reaction to the next two episodes. you might even already know why. great things are going to be happening

Wouldn't he? I've never found Boa to be THAT strong of a combatant, pretty sure she's one of the weakest Warlords. If Luffy can take down Crocodile and Moria, i think he can deal with Boa well enough

Miklar Sihn

The aversion to dudes was a thing before, they just have more of an aversion to dudes. Remember, after she was taken was the first time she saw a dude.

Miklar Sihn

It was kinda sweet how long you held onto the idea of the mark on their back turning people to stone.

J.t. Fowlkes

Comrades ha can't wait until u see the next two episodes or u probably already watched them

Master Zed

Yep! the way Oda puts things together and the way he writes it is just amazing. sometimes even the small details are meant for something really important! I just love one piece :)

Mighty Snake

You can really tell how good the story is when the entire backstory scene had Boa Hancock topless, and you still managed to pay attention to it all.

GoldArthur

That scene, where it shows the Celestial Dragon standing over them, it just tears me apart. Having that kind of power; the unquestionable authority. I almost envy it, but as soon as I see what it turned them into... Monsters that could smile and laugh while branding scared little girls. I don't care how corrupt I become, if I ever saw something like that, I'd fall into a murderous rampage. I can understand power making a person more insensitive. We're humans. We're all guilty of that to some degree, but THAT. You couldn't possibly have any humanity left in you at that point.

Yup! That's some quality writing for me not to have needed to rewatch that with my hand over the Hancock part of the screen. :-D

Irimu

Again, how do you get such an arrogant personality after being a slave for 4 years at an age as young as 12? Warped personality maybe but not this.

Jcw490

Fisher Tiger is the goat. And I really like how raw and real Boa’s tears and portrayal was. It was intense but not over the top like anime can often be

Her personality has been developed from when she came back to the island after 4 years and thought she had to be cold and ruthless to get her way and protect not only her country but her and her sisters secret

Oh that is because you are not looking at the first generation. Remember, these people have been on top for... i think it was hundreds of years. This is not you getting that authority, this is you born with that authority.

DarkRaven

This is what I was waiting for to bring the Fishman back, I remember you being against them because of Arlong at one point but soon we will get more info on them. Fisher Tiger was an amazing character.

Miasimon

If you listen close enough, you can hear Sanji screaming in a horny rage at how Luffy is reacting to all of this.

Johnny Kiehn

I know this is kinda dark but it'll only make you hate the celestial dragons more, so I thought I'd leave this here. In the anime (and more so in the manga) it is implied that Boa and her sisters were forced to "entertain" the celestial dragons. Boa in particular was forced to eat the Love Love Fruit for "entertainment". Oda even said Boa saw men's "true nature" with a group of celestials standing over her. He was most likely implying (within the bounds of Shounen Jump's guidelines) that the sisters were probably sold to the Celestial Dragons as sex slaves at the age of 12. Given how celestial dragons like Charloss had many wives that they "grew tired of", they likely viewed them as toys for their own "entertainment". It's sickening, but definitely not out of character for the celestials not to care if they were children or even human beings and as Boa said in the episode, "take advantage of them". Sorry to bring it up, but I feel like it explains Boa's distrust of men and help further your hatred of the celestial dragons (as if you didn't hate them enough).

DevilJynx

Pretty much every villain and ill-doer to include Blackbeard, Crocodile, Arlong, Buggy, etc can all agree on one thing: The Celestial Dragons are the worst group of people in this world. This episode really humbles Boa and shows she's been through Hell.

JTUltima

Boa could one shot luffy right now in the story she's so op, her sisters are nothing compared to her lol
