Bon Clay, not the hero we deserved, but the hero we needed. Salut!

The ultimate bro

kaisergabe

our boy mr.2 bon clay the true mvp of impel down

A strange translation, but when Magellan asks Bon-chan if he has any last words before he dies, Bon-chan replied with “Satisfaction.” Like a true badass

Mighty Snake

He may be Mr. 2 but he's number one in our hearts

Lewd Angel

F's in chat for Bon Clay, one of the greatest MVPs

GoldArthur

THIS is how you write an LGBT character. No useless shoehorning, no unnecessary lessons about "acceptance". Being a queer wasn't the extent of his character. He was a good friend, full of honor and courage, whom also happened to be a queer. THAT's what makes him a good character, because loyalty, honor, and courage are the traits that TRULY matter in a person, not how you define your sexuality.

Nika

Curtis I kno u don't read the manga but the cover page story never get animated that much and it's shown that he is alive in impel down 5.5 as the new leader of the new Kama kingdom

THE GOOSH!

He was a badass in every sense! Not only when in the fight, but as a friend outside of battle.

Nika

It's not a spoiler since it's only explained in the cover story which are not animated just how enels cover story and the cp9 secret mission report

Jonathan

Dunno if it's been mentioned by anyone yet, but Jimbei is specifically a whale shark Fishman, which is why he could call whale sharks.

J.t. Fowlkes

Bon Clay is definitely MVP of this arc he's a wonderful nakame for life no doubt about it

Miasimon

With that last act, Bon Clay suddenly became the second manliest man in One Piece. As manly as he is, though... he still isn't half as manly as a certain Old Man that's basically on life support.

Tyler

Bon Clay is a fucking legend. Not once, but twice, he sacrifices himself for his friends. Staying behind at a critical moment just so that they can make it. But now it's time to make our way to Marineford. A place where legends are both born and ended. A place where history is about to be made. I can't even begin to express my hype for this arc.

Rebirth419

A trifling victory.. But a victory none the less

Nobody would guess, when they are first introduced to the shape-shifting ballerina in the Alabasta Arc, that this minor antagonist would go on to be one of the most noble and self-sacrificing characters in the series.

nakama for life! OKAMA WAY!!

vassardog

This moment cemented bon clay as my favorite one piece character to this day.

Heisenberg101

Magellan: 'any last words?!' Bon Clay: 'Satisfaction!' don't know why the subs curtis watches changes so many dialogue. still ended tearing up again with him though.
