SERIES TO REPLACE ONE PIECE POLL! (Patreon)

Okay, Gang, here we go!... This time, I have taken the top 8 vote-getters, and thrown in 2 dark horses (in no particular order). The 2 longshot series I've selected are ones I've heard you guys talk about, seem very interesting to me, and have gotten a little support. They are "Isekai Quartet" and "Shimoneta, A Boring World..."

The poll will be up for 3 days. One vote per person, but the system should allow you to change your vote if you have a change of heart at any point.

Of course, we will be periodically going back to One Piece, but it will be a bit, as I think it's more fun for us if we let a bunch of episodes build up so we can binge together.

I'm REALLY anxious to see what you guys come up with! 😊

Dallas Winston

Let’s get Kenshin through Guys !!!

J Johnson

oh god there are some good ones there, gotta vote for Baki, it's tailor made for Curtis, the ultimate combination of various martial art masters having street fights with each other.

Anonymous

Fairy tail guys !

V_VMat

I want vote 3 of these (and ofc they are at the bottom vote getters by the poll numbers currently)

Anonymous

Well I'm definitely hoping for jobless or inuyasha.but honestly I think most this list is good.

V_VMat
>>76929731

... right, 30 votes in total, so each vote counts for 3% atm

Corey Charlton

I've only seen half of the anime here. I hope the winner is one ive seen so I can experience it again

SL

Make my year, vote for Gintama

TheBrolyTv

Future diary :,) please

Chrome

There's a lot of good choices in this poll, a good mix of some classics like Inuyasha and Fairy Tail and some more modern shows like Jobless Reincarnation and Made in Abyss. Just hoping it's anything but Rorouni Kenshin lol, the author's a shameless monster

Brandon Nowakowski
>>76929592

Yeah, I'm tossing in my vote for Baki as well, though it'll probably be a while before it wins when it's up against big names like Fairy Tail and Rurouni Kenshin.

Vega

dude baki is the shit, I just know you'd love it. anyone who likes senseless violence will love it. It's a nice break from dramas and emotions, it's pure testosterones and over the top crazyness. LOL

Lewd Angel

Gonna gun for Fairy Tail myself, feels very appropriate given we just wrapped up OP for a while.

Kenji

gintama needs to win this poll its probably the anime that is for the longest in the polls that could never make it

Chris Johnson

C'mon Gintama. Although Fairy Tail is another win for me.

Anonymous

I'd be so down for baki ngl

V

I'm halfway through Gintama myself. Vote Gintama, I'm not biased I swear

Dandy

As someone who was looking to get a nostalgic (for me) mecha show on the daily lineup, this poll isn't quite doing it for me. Gonna throw my hat at Jobless, since I've heard good things and know it's a relatively short ride compared to some other Anime Titans on the list here.

V
>>76941052

Member that time when they use to come out with mecha anime.........good times, good times.

Aidan

Fairy Tail? Really lads? Oh god, please no more power of friendship crap. I know it's unlikely but I go Baki

Lewd Angel
>>76944323

Yea how about we don't do this? We've been doing these polls for literal damn years, are we ever gonna grow past the 'ugh this show i don't like is winning, really?' crap?

Aidan

Don't really think so lad but who are we to stop Curtis to stop him reacting for a series mostly everyone, amazingly somehow, chose here. It's not my favorite but it doesn't mean it's the same for other gooshers.

GoldArthur

Curtis. What do you think about having a second poll only between the two highest on this one. Make it a binary choice?

James West

Yeah Fairy Tail should not win this poll, Gintama sounds like something more fun. Plus he’s been watching sponsored episodes recently. Make a poll for just between Fairy Tail vs Gintama.

THE GOOSH!
>>76946667

Nope. We're not adding any extra steps to the process. I think it's most fair just like this.

Daniel Gonzalez

Hmm didn't think FT would have so much support I wanted to vote Kenshin or Inuyasha but neither seems like it'll win so I went Gintama instead

THE GOOSH!
>>76947869

Nope. That's why I mentioned that anyone can change their vote. If they see that the show they voted for isn't going to win, they can simply switch that vote to one of the two top vote-getters. I don't want to be changing the rules every time someone is looking to usurp the results, and besides, depending on how the numbers go, I may be utilizing a second vote on this one to work out something else.

GoldArthur

I like Fairy Tail for it's own reasons, but I know that it's a bad idea to have Curtis watch. He'd enjoy Boruto more than Fairy Tail. The only reason people think he'll like it is cause of the Erza fanservice, but they forget that there's also a lot of fanservice he would actively dislike.

DevilJynx
>>76949194

Its been asked for quite a while and it'll hold him over for sure to put a big gap between where One Piece is and where it will be once he finishes it.

Ahopiyo

Hope Gintama wins, would be a blessing on this wonderful world.

Anonymous

In my opinion, Gintama deserves the victory this time. It has been so close to winning on a few polls and now seems like the perfect time to showcase it. Fairy Tail is alright, but Gintama seems more appropriate.

Tremkyu

I'm rooting the most for baki, but whatever it is gonna be, its gonna be fun :D and if its not, I'll just wait on the next one thats fun to me :)

Darkslifer#27

considering black clover is the last anime i really wanted you to see i dont have particularly strong opinions on this one lol. kenshin is my favorite but i wouldnt feel right supporting that scumbag writer. i ended up voting for gintama cuz from what ive seen of it youd likely enjoy it most of these

Ruuji Hasegawa

Who will prevail, Gintama aka "silver balls" or Fairy Tail aka "the power of friendship".

Brother E
>>76957226

Lmao, I’m glad someone actually brought that up I was waiting for that. People actually forget that Gintama means “Silver Soul” but it was purposely named that because it’s one letter off from “Silver Balls” aka Gintoki’s balls 😂🤣

Chrisdiss

Damn i hope gintama wins, that show is hilarious, I'm kinda torn though with future diary. now that show was interesting. I also never realized their was big fan base for fairy tale with the gooshers. Personally i dropped the anime after a while it wasn't to my taste, Fair is fair though and I'm fine with that.

Chrome
>>76950475

why would it be a bad idea, and what fan service wouldn't he like? Fairy Tails a fun series and I think the style of comedy and comradery are they type of things curtis would really like.

V

Two more percents, come on Gintama fans

Ikanacanyon

Voting for Shimoneta is like voting third party in a presidential election- it may feel good, but ultimately is meaningless, but unlike an election, I have a feeling shimoneta will get watched sooner or later

ChubbyDuckling2

My votes on Fairy Tail, Curtis is gonna love the characters and the humour

Dandy

320 people have voted, there are at least 1200 Gooshers. Current numbers could mean NOTHING if everyone else came in and voted. Don't be a dope, drop your vote.

Durasin

Man I dont get why people, like jobless so much, there's just Way too heavy of a pedo vibe in that show, and although it sports some pretty fantastic visuals I feel like the story is pretty lackluster

The Gimpster 101

Now when this is done, let’s have a poll about Dubs or Subs for each of them…..nothing can go wrong, it surely won’t be a blood bath 😌

SL
>>76980009

Pretty sure GIntama doesn't have a finished dub, so no bloodbath necessary :P

Josh

This is the first time that I’m not interested at all in any of the top 3 picks, and 2 of them are incredibly long. Don’t like og Dragon Ball dub either. Oh well, the G100 videos are fantastic.

Josh
>>76979695

The problem is that the most popular shows out there he’s already seen. So what we have left are the slim pickings leftovers nobody wanted before. Most people don’t venture out of their comfort zone, so unless it’s popular with the masses it’s not likely to gain a following. So Jobless is just popular and recent enough to get votes.

Brother E
>>76965382

He would love Shimoneta, I genuinely think his reaction to that series would be hilarious. But seems like we’ll have to wait sometime until he watches it.

GoldArthur
>>76981302

Give Gintama a chance. It gets to everyone. Only show besides One Piece that makes me cry many times throughout the series.

David Brantley

aw man future diary would've been amazing

Noah

I'll be honest I'm not a huge fan of gintama, and was hoping for FT to beat it, but the biggest reason for me was I thought there was 600-700 episodes of it and didnt want a series taking 2ish years to finish but I come to find out there's about ½ that, so itll take about a year tk finish which im fine with, so now I'm more into it being chosen for the people who want it, I personally won't watch it, but I can now be fine with it winning, I'm still gonna stick with my FT vote, but I won't really be dissapointed if Gintama wins now.

Anonymous

6% on Made in Abyss broke my heart :(

THE GOOSH!

Just as an update for you guys: I know everyone is watching the battle for the top spot, As of right now, they are both showing 23%. The actual raw numbers have Fairy Tail ahead 88 to 87... Just wanted to let you know where things stand.

SL
>>77013343

Good lord that's close. Honestly they are close enough that we should just watch both of them and have first place be the one that happens first.

Ruuji Hasegawa

Kinda crazy that Gintama even is toe to toe with Fairy Tail, since FT is like 3-4 times more popular than Gintama. (At least according to MAL and AniLIst)

Dandy

Just a friendly reminder that voting for "The one that looks like it has a better chance of winning" compared to "The one I actually wanted to vote for" is how you get buyers(voters) remorse.

Philip Repp (Bebop56210)

I'd rather throw away my vote than vote for something I don't care about. :D

Brother E

WOW! At the moment Gintama actually surpassed Fairy Tail in the poll! FT was leading since the beginning so that’s quite a rare occurrence, usually the leading vote always stays ahead. Well regardless whoever wins this, there should be another poll quite soon as we approach the end of Dragon Ball. So all the other shows will have another opportunity very shortly.

Charlie baker

Dang what since when does fairy tail have this kinda momentum especially against a show like gintama,Ive never heard it brought up with the same consistency I hear about gin in goosh comments. Also dang I dont get people vying for jobless rudeus would probably make even curtis uncomfortable . Im voting gintama because its dope even if inuyasha or rurouni kenshin are definitely closer to the heart

Charlie baker

One can hope Bro ,them and ranma ½ and kenichi the mightiest(god i love the dubs for all 4)

THE GOOSH!

I know a lot of you guys are watching this closely, and seeing as how Gintama and Fairy Tail are tied once again, I checked out the numbers and Gintama currently leads, 105-103.

kyle williams12

You would love fairy tail the comedy is so good

Jes J

very meh anime tbh lol, i think it was a mistake making you watch all the very good stuff first haha

Ali6B

If Gintama loses to FT I might cry

Kenji

i voted for gintama ofc!!!

꧁Coltonius Maximus꧂

Honestly Fairy Tail holds a lot of nostalgia for me, and it was how I got my mom into anime, so my vote is for FT, as much as I do like the idea of Gintama. Saw a lot of hate for FT in the comments but I really don't see why. The power of friendship theme really isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be, and the fights are still really badass, plus the humor is on point, and the fanservice is great all around (except for people who don't like the wendy fanservice cause its loli, but even that is minimal) It really is a good show (even if some will never admit it) Understandable if it falls off for you in the later seasons, but it doesn't for me

Johnny Kiehn

I am pretty bummed that we won’t get Baki for a while, since I really think Curtis would love it, but Gintama is not a bad alternative. Curtis is gonna lose it with this one!

GoldArthur
>>77145694

I could explain why I'm so disappointed in it, but there's really no way to do with without spoiling it.

Brother E

Looks like Gintama managed to win! Fairy Tail had a 3-1 lead and Gintama did the impossible and pulled the victory! There should be another nomination happening quite soon after Dragon Ball is finished, so there will be another opportunity for all these series in the upcoming weeks.

Thomastheterminator

GOATAMA WINS! It’s niche compared to the mainstream FT so I wasn’t sure if it could pull it out

Spicoli

Thank you gintama fans. Saved me from Fairy Tail.

George

Baki or Inuyasha
