Welcome to Endgame

Hound of the red plains

Welcome. Now enjoy Miku's deep, hot, daddy voice as Shem-ha. Yes, even as Shem-ha , she uses Miku's voice.

Yep, we are in the Endgame now. This episode felt like a season finale episode almost. X-Drive mid season? What is this!? lol By this point you have to wonder if the ship really is MariaXTsubasa because after the duet from AXZ and the few different scenes this season, they seem to be really pushing the MariaXChris ship now. Also, have you noticed how Tsubasa calls everyone by their last name except for Maria? Proof right there of Tsubasa having stronger feelings for Maria compared to the others. The only other person she called by first name was Kanade. The ending song to this episode is the same as each past episode so far. Gotta love how the Miku montage during end credits are really trying to tease Miku's death. Yes, Shem Ha was still sharing Miku's voice actor there. And just think.... While this episode is personally my favorite from this season, what comes next in the remaining episodes puts even this episode to shame.

Poor Miku. Good thing the good guys have a god-killing fist, but will Hibiki be able to kill something that looks like the one she loves? I love listening to your theories about what will happen next. A lot of what you're thinking mirrors my theories during my first watch, and it's super entertaining to watch. Also, it went by quickly, but the Aufwachen waveform shown in the background at the end of Shem Ha's transformation isn't the same as the one emitted by the Bracer of Shem Ha. I'll let you consider what that means.
