I could be wrong, but at the beginning it sounded like you weren't sure what "HE" shells were. I'm sure I just misheard, but HE = High Explosive. Generally speaking, HE shells have very little armor penetration potential, but in exchange they deal large splash damage on contact. As for the Maus there.... Oh boy. That tank is super slow, but its incredibly armored and its gun is no joke. Only 2 Maus exist in real life. One of which wasn't even completed. Weighs in at a hefty 188 tonnes. Its frontal armor is 200 MM thick and the front of its turret is an even thicker 220 MM thick. The back of the hull and turret are the "weak points" but even then its still 180 and 200 mm respectively. Its main gun is a massive 128 mm gun. When I said its slow, I meant it. In real life its maximum speed 12mph (20km/h)
