Update 09/20 - This Update Will Give You A Stroke (Patreon)

On this day September 20th 2024, Ogfre Poppenang lost an important member to our staff.

Poor Brimblebrow died in a tragic industrial saw-blade intentional murder.

He will be missed.

ok but update time!!!!

For the week of 09/09 - 09/13 we ran into a snag :(((

Several Ogres went overseas and disrupted the local eco systems,causing several power outages, tummy aches, sickness, and out-door vomiting that halted production for the remainder of the week.

HOWEVER, panels continued to be worked on by the amazing Inktooth and Ironirocal and Geistverrse despite the massive tremors that accosted their places of work!!

Script work went uninterrupted as Earndil (now with extra full time) continued touch ups on a Secret Cult script to be released in the FAR future!

Additionally, Turnip shortages were announced country wide for the realm of Scandia as the Ogres ransacked local department stores in some horrible feast, culminating in a standoff with local Cowboys in a secret basement.

All Ogres left without issue, but every cowboy was killed in a nuclear blast.

Sadly the Ogres were to be stricken by illness two days later.

Work resumed THIS following week of September 16th - September 20th.

Every Ogre was sedated and sent back to their country of Ogregin and got back to work!

Scriptists got to work on two additional Audiologs [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]!

With how VERY GOODLY the new Audiolog has been received, we have been convinced that mm yes yeah mmhhmm releasing more of those would probably be Good.Expect more of these sooner rather than not too sooner?

The next Audiolog to be released is one written by Boy! (intentional word choice!)

The script was finalized some time ago and gotten to a point where everyone is happy!!

Voice is being acted for the myriad of characters and art is being worked! Wow!!

Chapter 5 of Hunter: the Parenting is being animated and panels are being created,but we CANNOT show anything as it will ruin any big epic surprises that will come out of it,so trust me when I say!

Norfolk Wizard Game is also being worked on!Several episodes have been recorded and are waiting to be edited with sound effects and I'm sure voices as well?I don't know, I'm not an editor!

Thats all I could scrape together off the walls!

Your audiologs have always been a highlight, and a balm between episodes. When I first picked up the series, I confess that I skipped them. Thought they were ancillary or maybe not as relevant to the on-going story. But the first one was such a love letter to WoD and local folklore, I was hooked. Yall haven't gotten better with the audiologs, they have been consistently incredible and bring me back to the old radio plays I listened to as a kid, but with way more cursing.

I can't speak for anyone else but I like the audio-only stuff you occasionally do very much. Still prefer the animations, but the audio logs etc are really good too. Do remember to take breaks and don't burn yourselves out. Other channels might make weekly posts but they got hundreds of employees. I can wait, and I'd like to imagine so can the rest of the fanbase.

Not if it was during the postwar period (that's why Star Wars has so many old guns used as props that today they'd only be fit for museums) or even during WW2 itself. It is odd that they look like German MP40s but maybe at that the Arcanum had easier access and did not bother to upgrade the arsenal. If not used often and maintained by a decent mechanist/armorer, they would still function with modern ammunition. It seems strange but remember that that the Arcanum is a scholar organization first, not warriors. It may well be that the armory doubles as a collection as well.

It's hard to accept, but it's not coming back. Technically it's possible, but unless Games Workshop stops being the asshole Games Workshop we all love to hate, they'll never get the green light to make more. And even if they did, at this point they would need to give up on this new beautiful thing they're building to go back to the old project, so it would be a no-win situation. I feel your pain, and it's best if we move on and enjoy the new reality for what it is: different, but pretty damn good

Yeah, it's probably safe to say that anyone still here after all these years of 6 month delays between episodes, is here for the long haul. We can wait, do what you need to to keep it sustainable

Honestly, given the intense secrecy they collectively go through I find that unlikely, especially seeing as how genuine MP40s go for a small fortune. What’s more likely is that the Arcanum, being a scholarly organization, doesn’t allocate much in terms of funds to weaponry, so they just make do with what they have in storage. Though I do hope it’s touched on in someway.
