In a dumbstricking development, the creators of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 invited our aghast asses on for the first episode in their Community Talks podcast, talking Hunter: The Parenting, Norfolk Wizard Game, how we got into World of Darkness, and, of course, Bloodlines 2 in and of itself.

Being contacted and even interviewed by a studio behind the thing we like is... new to us!!But, we lived, and it was in fact very cool and good, lovely people whom we thank.

Check it out if you're at all interested!

TCR Community Talks - Discussing characters and development with Alfabusa and Speaker D

After the brilliant reception to our latest title Still Wakes the Deep (out now!), we want to invite you all to familiarise yourselves a bit more about our next project. Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is coming out in 2025 and already has an existing community of players from the beloved prequel Bloodlines 1. We want to do justice to the game and show our passion for Vampire the Masquerade. TCR Community Talks is a monthly interview show we're launching where we'll discuss how media is made with smart creators from the Community around our games! This month we have invited Alfabusa and Speaker D from https://www.youtube.com/@alfabusa to talk about their World of Darkness animation projects. They're making Hunter: The Parenting and Norfolk Wizard Game about funny characters in dire settings. We also have Writer Cherish Goldstraw who has been working with us on Bloodlines 2 to discuss how she creates characters and what she has enjoyed about the process. Hosted by The Chinese Room's Community Developer Joshua Mathews. We hope you enjoy these - comment, give us your feedback, follow us on our other socials, and speak soon! the amount of hype Josh Matthews tried to put into the introduction was immediately eclipsed by the ecstatic joy of both speaker and alfabusa.

Lennart

I hope the game is good

Tzeentchi

I am wistening to it right now. It's so weird to hear Alfa's pure voice! :D

Socratic Don

Hearing Alfabusa talk regularly is the most surreal thing ever. I never realized just how much he played up his accent until now.

Lindsay

This is insane!!! I need to bite something!!!

Lindsay

Bit hand!!! I'm good now!!!

SirJacen

Will we hear the funny people speaking in Bloodlines 2?

Brandon Guzman

Now if only Games Workshop had treated it’s fanbase this well, instead of going all “Zero-Tolerance”…

Can someone send me link to discord

I'm not gonna be nagging about anything TTS40K related anymore. But I do have 1 thought, does Alfa Busa plan to make a video of how the Emperor learns about the event we all know as "The last stand of Rylanor" somehow, at some point? cause I'd love the outcome of what would be seen as the Emperor metaphorically LMFAO + head so hard while seeing it as the second most pleasant surprise of hilariously funny event of heart warmth too

It's a testament to their voice acting talent. I know the characters they play, but their normal voices are so incredibly different. ...I'm such a fanboy, but I don't give a fuck. Talent and hard-won skill deserves praise and ogre poppenang is gooooooood at what they do

GUYFUN

It is my impression we wont see any warhammer content until GW changes their ways and then some.

GUYFUN

Was honestly expecting you to put on the swedish glue salesman voice.

Kyle E Johnson

@GUYFUN Alfabusa & pals have explicitly stated this, yes. I'm pretty sure (edit: I'm certain. I went back and looked) they did it years ago in the "the fate of TTS" YouTube video announcement Everything 40k related is over, because Games Workshop killed it. It's not coming back unless GW changes their policy, and even if GW change the policy, at this point they've moved on and built something new and beautiful. Going back would require neglecting the new things they're doing.

rowan williams

I'm not disbelieving you, but. I'm going with let's just agree to disagree and leave it at that

MorningCock

Some update would be nice

rowan williams

I understand. I only asked because from what I hear, as long as fanfic story doesn't require profit then GW is fine with it. That's from a discord user called Master Jarl, and I'm sure the man called Major Kill on YouTube, Discord and Patreon would also be able to affirm that. Besides the fanfic story has far too many cliff hangers, and the episode finale bit where the Emperor is restored but then Horus pops out of nowhere and with a different new kind of his own

Kyle E Johnson

If you don't hear it directly from Games Workshop's legal department in an official announcement, it doesn't count. Their word is the only one that has the authority to make any changes to this policy. That's the law. Literally. GW made an announcement that it's not allowed anymore, and until they say otherwise, they have the right to sue anyone who breaks this rule. And a history of exercising this right I don't mean to be rude, just direct. This is a legal matter, and until the law is changed, or the group with the official power to make changes, makes a change, everything stays the same. Because nobody else has the legal right to make a decision
