ooohh YAY =)

Nathanael Fuller (Polygon Wizard)

"Golden Rule, motherfucker!" This might be my favorite line from the season. It's a fun line on its own, but taken in context with all the extra meaning behind it and delivered by a character who hasn't really cursed up to that point gives it so much more impact and weight. Love it!

Love that Matt Berry voiced the robot

Lol. I've never had Spam, but it's all over in the Fallout games (except it's called "Cram"). Guess I'll have to try it sometime.

This is such a fun episode because we get to see a Super Duper Mart. You can explore a few in the games and they're always so different and this one is also unique. As far as Ghouls go-Irradiation and gradual transformation result in ghouls who retain their general human shape, but with a high degree of skin deterioration: Exposed muscle, flaking skin, and damaged connective tissue characterized by the absence of nose and ears.

First time I played the game I was like Lucy ,all good golden rule and my karma was through the roof , second time I was like Ghoul killing everything and let's say my karma wasn't that good 😃

This sounds F'd up, but for some reason seeing Lucy's innocence stripped away bit by bit is very satisfying and badass

I assumed they where re-using the teeth. like replacements. for people that lost them. SO GROSS! but I know nothing of dentistry =P

The Feral Ghouls may be a slight departure from the game. I got the impression in the game Feral Ghouls formed from high levels of radiation exposure rather than a regular Ghoul who turned over time without drugs. Feral ghouls are sustained solely by radiation. They no longer need food or drink. The Fallout wiki has a page on Ghouls from all the games and the show. https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Ghoul

Joel Palenychka

The ghouls are irradiated zombies, essentially. They provide the game with human shaped monsters you can shoot with a clear conscience. Also, in the game, there are different kinds of ghouls, some more powerful than others. But they're all incredibly long lived and highly resistant to harm. Drugs don't affect them as strongly and radiation heals them. (don't ask how just hand wave and say "game mechanics") The best use of the ghouls in game, though, is the fact that most of them have been alive since the apocalyptic war and can remember things From Before. The non-feral ones are great for exposition to give your character the information they need to complete their quest. Sadly, you can't play as one. Could be an interesting character to play, one that's incredibly tough and immune to radiation but has to keep drugs on hand to prevent themselves from going feral. In Fallout 3 there's an actual ghoul society that thrives in the museum of history.

Glen Roberts

Their noses are gone because there is no bone in it. The radiation rots it away. Their skin rots away in other places ( such as where Roger's skull is showing through ) but it takes longer.

With every episode I adore Lucy more...😍 The way she stays true to her values, no matter how the Wasteland tries to break her and changes her on the outside...😊 And I love the weird, absurd, gory sense of humor this show has as much as I love that the show does not hold back on anything. 😂 From the fingers-exchange to the breaking water of Stephanie must have been the weirdest and funniest 5 minutes I've ever seen on any TV show...😂😂🙈 As for Cooper, he once more just gave in to the pressure of the studio that fired the old writer and that was accused of being a communist, just like he gave in to his wife, starring in a Vault-Tec commercial. As he said, he was always good at making money. Being the poster boy for a much hated corporation and for the infamous communist witch hunt doesn't sit well with him, but he did it anyway, because he still believes in his country and he got complacent with his career and his fame. In some ways he is like Lucy, he is incredibly naive and therefore gets played...🤔

The teeth thing was not in the games and doesn't really make sense to me in the context of the world. There are dead bodies everywhere in the fallout world, teeth should not be an issue to come by. Everything else has nailed the feel of the games so far, the sets are dead on.

I guess technically the Wasteland is slowly turning Lucy into a different person given that for her first kill she pulled the trigger with someone else’s finger.

Lucy's actress Ella Purnell really does look like she would pull off an amazing live action Jinx or cosplay. It's crazy cause if you see her in any interviews or random videos she's really a chaotic goof ball and I genuinely think that Ella is the reflection of how Jinx would be without any kind of traumas, just chaotic and goofy.

This episode is really good. Lucy's has already changed bit, I love how they bring it out.

Finally catching up on this. Was I the only one who thought Maximus's story is just the darkest timeline version of A Knight's Tale? Just me? Right...

If you like Spam and Mexican food, have you tried Sayulitas? It is a Mexican and Filipino fusion taco shop that has some tasty burrito and fries options. "Golden rule, mother f*cker!" has to be one of my favorite lines from this show. I think the Hollywood environment right before the bombs dropped is very similar to the 1950's McCarthy and House of Un-American Activities hearings that was going after anyone assumed to be a Communist or Socialist. I think Coop might have felt if he didn't go along with the new lines, he might also get labeled as a Commie like the writer Bob did,
