Thank you I was waiting for this. Fantastic episode with an unrecognizable Ben Mendelsohn as a guest star.

Robert Gendron

While Rygel's voice actor always nails it, this episode highlights how good the muppet is at acting. Between the puppeteer and the animatronics, you can actually read Rygel's emotions and intent in his facial expressions. It's insane what the creature shop was able to do. Not once does one find it ridiculous to see Scorpius interacting with a Muppet, Rygel is that believable.

There's three more episodes left in the season, but it's not a three part-er coming up. Just a two parter. The final episode ties into the episodes before, but that's true for every Farscape episode I believe.

The way I understand the Talyn situation is he's basically been placed in a medically induced coma and on life support, but the plan is to have his non-biological components replaced, after which the ship will still exist but he won't be Talyn anymore. How did I feel about it when I saw it the first time? I was devastated. This really is a fantastic episode - especially for Rygel, but I also really like how much detail goes into the side / background characters, like with the waitress and the cook. I don't think we got the waitress's name, but the cook seems to have beem named "Foodie" I'm sure I've said this before, but I really appreciate how much you allow yourself to feel, and that you share those feelings with us as you experience the show. I've watched it so many times and know it so well, but watching along with you as you watch for the first time is almost like seeing it with fresh eyes myself. And it's kinda nice knowing there's someone who cries almost as much as I do watching it.

Teeing up two of my favorite eps of the entire series

I have obviously watched too many episodes of American TV series. Nothing ever really changes because of cast contracts and stability to keep the show running in the same way it always has. That difference is why I love watching shows NOT done in the Hollywood machine. It is why I say again "In Farscape, like Dr Who, Anything is possible." Given what you have seen up to this point, do you agree?
