Edit: I had surgery today! I am hoping that this solves the pain issue and that I can get back to real life soon. I’m up and about and walking around which is fantastic, and I’ll be heading home tomorrow. Thank you for all the well wishes you guys rock!

So if anyone has been in the Discord server, they know that I’ve been kind of going through a medical issue the past couple days. I will more than likely have to have my gallbladder removed tomorrow. I’m not sure what the downtime is after that, I would love to tell you my doctors are really good at communicating, but they are not. Peacemaker will definitely be late this week and instead of extra episodes of Frieren we will just have the normal days for now. I hate posting a schedule and not stick to it, I apologize for that. I will keep everyone updated as to how I’m feeling. Send your girl some healing vibes!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that. Hope you get better soon ❤️

Michael Thomas

Im so sorry to hear that you’re going through this! Hoping for a swift recovery, I’m sending all my best wishes. Don’t worry about a schedule or anything, we will be here for you once you’re back on your feet ❤️

Nathan Burgess

Please take care Angela. Your health is essential. We can and will wait.

Christopher Hunt

Best wishes for a safe surgery and a speedy recovery 🙏 ❤️

Pistols O'Brien

I had my gallbladder removed about 15 years ago. There is definitely a few days of downtime, but the surgery is minimally invasive. Like, I have just a tiny scar to show for it. Something no one tells you, and I'm sorry if this is a little gross, but there's a strong chance you'll have issues with diarrhea afterwards. None of my doctors told me, I had to find that out through Dr Google.

Lindsay Mathieson

Take care 🤞And look after yourself, health, rest and recovery more important than a schedule!

funnylilgalreacts

Yeah, I’m not really looking forward to having to change my diet and to have food affect me in a way I’m not accustomed to. I’ve been able to eat whatever I want my whole life and now I have to be very careful.

Pistols O'Brien

Yeah, it definitely sucks, but you get used to it after a while. But I just wanted to let you know my experience with it, and hopefully reassure about the recovery. I was back on my feet in a couple days. Here's hoping your experience is even better!

KSTeo

Nowsaday, this is usually done by keyhole (day) surgery, in my country (Singapore). My mum has hers removed, and yah, she gets upset stomach after a meal sometimes. Take care.

thejamppa

Good luck and speed recover I had my gallbladder removed. A standard operation turned 8 hour operation and I have nice scary from chest to navetta, because if Murphy. I had to change bit dietary. Use less hard spices and change bit oils but nothing drastic. And I can eat ice cream or potato chips but not both in sane say, lol.

Jaime Unson

Will be praying for a successful surgery and for a speedy recovery. Don’t worry about the reactions. They can wait. I’m sure everyone is more concerned about your health than anything else. 🩷

Tom’s Art Studio

We’re thinking about you! Keeping you in my prayers and healing thoughts ❤️🙏🏻

Jedidiah

Sending hugs! Praying for your safety and recovery. 🫶🏻

Ross McMillan

Take care and speedy recover. I had mine removed 13 years ago. It's normally done keyhole and the recovery isn't too bad. You are able to move around the same day and mostly back to normal in a couple of weeks. 2 things no one warns you about. 1. The sorest thing when you wake up is weirdly your shoulder. (It's something to do with the gas they inflate your abdomen with) it passes quickly though. 2. You might not be able to eat certain foods without unpleasant trips to the bathroom. For me I'm fine with everything except ice cream. Good luck, I'm sure you will be back on your feet in no time.

Doug C

Sorry to hear that! I went through an ordeal for months before I needed my gall bladder out, so congrats on it only being days for you... (awkward smile) When they tell you how long it'll be to recover afterward, BELIEVE THEM!! I tried to go back to work faster than they said because I was feeling better and crashed out an hour into the day from sitting up in my chair and doing office stuff. Take it easy and we'll be here whenever you get back!

Rogier Oude Heuvel

Take care Angela, life and health are so much more important than reactions. We will be here when you come back! <3

Jonathan Foreman

Health always comes first. Scheduled can always be adjusted. Don't feel bad for adjusting the schedule to take care of yourself. We will always understand and support you through these hard times. I've known a few people that had they gall bladder removed. Don't strain yourself just because you feel like you made commitments, focus on recovery. We'll be waiting for when you're back to feeling 100%. Praying for you to have a speedy recovery.

Lloyd Brady

I had my gallbladder out a few years ago. You’ll be tender for a couple of weeks, and won’t want to be running any marathons or lifting weights for a while, but other than that you should be fine. Just take it easy and have plenty of rest. Maybe also avoid anything that’s likely to give you belly laughs! But seriously, being keyhole surgery it shouldn’t be too bad. Just take things at your own pace, and don’t feel you need to return to reactions till you’re up to it. Take care, and wishing you all the best.

Jon C

Hope everything goes smoothly and you have an easy recovery.

Jeff Ratcliff

Sorry so to hear you might need an operation. Everyone here wishes you good luck on any surgery and to take whatever time you need before you come back.

Alex

Take all the time you need as reactions for our entertainment mean nothing compared to your health and well being. So look after yourself, get better and we’ll be here whenever you’re ready to react again. Best of luck and hope everything goes well.

Chance Gardener

Gallbladder surgery is a relatively easy procedure nowadays. Pain is minimal afterwards, at least in my case it was. I will caution when getting up, especially from a lying down position, it's better to roll onto your side, then use your arms to push yourself upright rather than trying to 'do a sit up' from the prone position. Puts less strain on the belly muscles by rolling to the side. And not having to suffer a gallstone blockage again is well worth the loss of that organ. Good luck to you and have a speedy recovery.

Kevin (GiantFutures.com)

Take care of yourself!! I hope we’ll get to see you soon, but if it’s later, I’d prefer that if that’s what keeps you healthy. Tell that Doctor to do his best work!

John Miller

Hope you feel better. I had a coworker have their gallbladder removed and they were able to come back to work in a couple of days.

Josef Schiltz

My goodness! What?? Huh?!! Sending healing vibes. 💖 . . and a further two exclamation marks for good measure!!

DarkStar 57

Sending lots of powerful healing vibes!! I hope you are able to focus on resting and post op recovery. I hope the op goes well too! Rest up, we will be here when you're able to return ❤️‍🩹

Nadia B.

I'm sending you lots of love from Belgium 💚 Please take all the time you need.

George

Sending love and best wishes, prioritize your health xx

Thoko

Get well soon!

AidanAustin316

Get well soon Angela, sending you all the love and best wishes

Lintrinsic

Oh no. I've had that done myself. It can be uncomfortable and spasmy in your torso for a while after surgery, take it easy. Anything that makes you jolt suddenly like laughing or jump scares or forgetting and sitting up suddenly can set it off but it passes in a couple of weeks. You can also get pain from gas in places it shouldn't be after the surgery but that's short-lived and not everyone gets it. I've never regretted having mine out, it was so painful for a long time and while I have to watch what I eat more carefully its more about watching the quantities of fatty foods and what I eat in combination in the same day rather than being unable to have them at all. It's not as bad as they make it sound when they say what to "avoid". Keep antacids on hand just in case and you'll soon learn what your limits are and still be able to enjoy things you like in moderation.

Nathan Jasper

If anyone can beat this it's you. Take your time and focus on you. We'll be here for you.

William Wood

I hope it all goes well, my partner had theirs removed just over a decade ago, so I know it can be a bit of time to recover. Just make sure you look after yourself

Bruce Steve

You got this 🤜🏼🤛🏻

Natalie

So sorry to hear you’re feeling poorly! Feel better soon!

Mr. Duck

No worries girlie. Being healthy and okay is better than reaction videos

Gambit3838

Feel better soon. My brother had that happen and he was basically in bed for a few days before he was really mobile.

Ron Maloy

Hope you feel better sending you love and well wishes ♥️

ALFRED STUDWELL

I had my galbladder removed a couple years ago. Outpatient surgery. In and out same day. I have no scar. I took only a couple days to recover. I did not change my diet or lifestyle after. You'll be fine.

Gallows Girl Amy

Oh dear, sorry to hear that. Hope all goes well and you are feeling better soon.

Nathaniel Castle

Get well soon! Hopefully you bounce back no worries

Fr. Brench

My wife had her gallbladder removed several years ago, and the recovery was hardly a couple days because it's laparoscopic rather than a full incision. Here's hoping your experience is similarly merciful and brief!

Mark Ball

I hope you recover quickly. Feel Better!

daviderl666

Obviously your health is the most important thing. Take as much time as you need to better. you know everyone is hoping for the best for you, including myself ♥️

Nightowl

Best wishes for the operation if it turns out to be necessary and a speedy recovery. Don’t worry about producing content in the meantime.

Howie

Your health is obviously more important! Please take your time to rest and heal up!

Nathanael Fuller (Polygon Wizard)

Sending you well wishes and hope that your doctors suddenly learn to communicate better. Here's hoping you're back in good health soon!

Julie Johnson

Had mine removed about 6 months ago. While surgery isn't fun, the good news is that the relief from having it removed is pretty immediate. Pretty sure my first words on waking up were "holy crap".

Michael Siegel

Oof. I had that done about a decade ago. I thought I was being a wuss about the pain until a nurse told me she thought it was worse than childbirth. The good news is you'll feel a LOT better and recovery from this is fast. The only bad news is that you'll find yourself getting randomly extremely tired during the day as your body heals. And eating a lot of fatty food ... is not pretty. Best wishes for full recovery! Look after yourself and take your time coming back. We're not going anywhere.

Chris Collier

I hope everything goes smoothly Angela. Stay safe and recover fast!

Paulo

I hope everything goes well

Robin Roberts

I hope the operation goes ok and the recovery is as painless as possible and you're up and about and back to your old self in no time. Good Luck

Adam S

Hope all goes well! Wishing you all the best. Take as long as you need to recover, definitely most important ❤️

Ben

Forget about us and concentrate on getting better. We won't be going anywhere!

Joe Cleveland

may wisdom, skill, and compassion guide the hands of your caregivers, and may your recovery be easy and quick

Jay Willis

Sending you the best of luck!! My wife was hospitalized a few years ago with an infection, and I know how frustrating it can be at times (was in the hospital for 13 days, i've never slept on a hospital couch/bed so much, lol). We had multiple doctors coming in and each one would tell us something different, tell us they thought what we had been told by another doctor was wrong, etc, and we learned quickly we had to advocate for ourselves and ask questions and pester the nurses to make sure orders were put in or followed up on, etc. To be clear, i'm not being critical of the doctors and nurses abilities or knowledge, just that they were clearly overworked and just have too much on their plates in the hospital (at least the one we were in) to be as invested and locked in on our care as much as we would've liked. They were doing great work, just the communication amongst themselves and us was frustrating. I guess my point is: if they say they're going to order a scan or test, ask for updates, remind them. Be as forthcoming with info as possible about how you're feeling and ask as many questions as you can that will make you more comfortable and at ease. They're so busy that they might not go into the detail you're looking for and then when they leave you're left wishing you had asked (which honestly is my biggest problem, I forget in the moment and then wish I had remembered my question or thought about it when they were still in the room, lol).

Brian Pickering

I don't do Discord very much, so hadn't seen. I had mine out about 15 years ago, after the second largest pain I've experienced. Wouldn't wish that on my enemies. Take care, and get well soon!

Downeast Beast

Best of luck, and wishing you a speedy recovery!

Ray (Fanporium)

Sorry to hear about the funnylilgalbladder. May your anesthetics be potent, your recovery be swift, and your time off be a bit longer than needed. That said, the Discord only shows two channels for me (welcome and general) and general hasn't had a comment since March. Am I missing something there?

Paul Mix

Sending positive vibes. Absolutely focus on yourself and your recovery (and demand the care that you deserve!).

Sorcerer Rumburak

Health must always be the top priority. Take your time and get well soon.

The Enob

Take care of you, hon. We'll see you when you are back. :)

John

Well, today is Gallbladder Good Health Day. Maybe that's a good sign? Take care of yourself and take plenty of time to recover. We'll see you when you get back.

Frank (MetronV) Izzy

I got mine out in my mid-20's, but mine was infected and required about a week's stay in hospital before they could remove it and the 18 gallstones. The actual removal wasn't bad at all. Take care!

Kurt Yost

Youtube will be here when you're well again, so take the time you need.

David Billings

Strength for the surgery. Good rest for the recovery.

The Eternal Amateur

My Dad had to have his gallbladder out, I wish you as good of a recovery as he had, best of luck, and make sure you pace yourself!

Daniel Lowther

Take as long as you need; we'll be here when you're feeling better, and read to return. Hope everything goes well with the surgery. All the best. x

Ray (Fanporium)

Yup, I was on the wrong one. But the one you link to only has a rules and announcements channels. Wacky...

Earthen

I had mine removed so I know what pain you're going through. For me it was a routine procedure, in and out, and recovery was quick because it was a minimally invasive procedure. No reason to believe it will be any worse for you. We'll see you when you get back.

aGhost

Get well soon!

Carl Wilson

Sorry that you had to have Gall-ifrey surgery! Maybe someday you will find it again. Seriously, take care and take your time.

Kyle Taggart

please never apologize for any schedule mishaps, and I hope you feel better soon!!

Ron B

Love to hear the positive update! 🥳 Thanks for keeping us in the loop

Marc Alg

Oh no get better soon!!

Paulo

Get well soon

Mr. Duck

Again health is #1 be well

Louis

Hope you’re pain free and recovering quickly at home soon! That’s a nasty kind of pain, glad it’s out!

Richard Ward

Please if you need or if medicos think should please just dial back pace for a week or two. Stressed minds slow healing. ❤️‍🩹

Wolf and Cub Gaming

Good luck!!! Though you will be ecstatic tonnage your family and husband support you, we are absolutely wishing you well also!!! We still have more FARSCAPE to finish!!!

Molly Campbell

I hope you recover quickly! I had my gallbladder out about 20 years ago and felt so much better after! Hope the same happens for you, too.

dougj71

Get well soon.

Markus W.

Glad that it went well and hope for a quick recovery! Did you get to keep it? My sister had hers removed a few years back and kept it (no sure why, tbh 😅)

Nathaniel Castle

Glad to hear it went well! Here’s to no pain! 🍻

Luke Jones

we knew you’d make it through with no problem, you’re a fighter ❤️

Terry Morriss

Glad it went well. Hope you're fighting fit soon!

funnylilgalreacts

They’ll let you keep it? I don’t know man. I like when my insides are inside and I don’t wanna see my insides on the outside. You know what I mean?

Markus W.

Now that I think about it, it's more likely she kept the gall stone(s) (due to which she had to have it removed). And, yes as Spike once said: "You're supposed to wear the red stuff on the inside, Charlie boy"

Harry S

Hope you get better soon! Best Wishes!

daviderl666

Excellent news Take whatever time you need to get better . We will be here, hoping the best for you ♥️

Justin Schuller

I had my gall bladder out years ago, and while I don't remember them offering to let me keep it, I do remember I got a little container with the stones that were causing me the problems. Kind of creepy in a way.

Michael Jones

Glad to hear you’re on the mend.

Lazzy

Oh yikes. I'm glad to hear you took care of that right away. My sister had the same thing last year, but she carried it for much longer than she had to because she's one of those people. Her pain was unbearable, but she recovered really fast once surgery was done, so I hope the same for you!

Olu

Awesome news. Take care of yourself 💜

DarkThunder

Always take care of yourself FIRST! We'll still be here when you're feeling better. Hugs from Sweden!

funnylilgalreacts

I hope I recover fast cause right now. I’m still in a lot of pain. It’s just different pain.

funnylilgalreacts

They didn’t tell me how many I had. I don’t know if I wanna know.

Daniel Lowther

Really glad to hear that the surgery went ok, and that you're already back up on your feet: I'd have milked it a bit longer, if I'd been you haha. Hopefully this solves your pain problems, and you don't have any more issues going forward. Don't feel you have to rush yourself to get back; you're health and comfort are more important, so take as much time as you need, and as I said previously, we'll be here when you're ready to get back into full swing. All the best. x

Gnaritas 74

OMG I've had that surgery; best wishes, hope you recover fast and well.

Jessica H.

Gallbladders are evil! Had mine removed in 2017. Hopefully ours are together burning in hell 😂 If your doctor/surgeon didn't mention it look into digestive enzymes/ox bile as it helps with digestion if you have issues after you heal where after eating you have to use the bathroom.

funnylilgalreacts

So far eating hasn’t triggered any bathroom issues. But I’m also terrified to eat something that is even maybe a little bit flavorful or greasy. I’ve never craved french fries so much in my life, knowing that it’s probably not a good idea.

Ted Hammond

Rest, heal, we'll be here when you're ready.

Michael Siegel

Good to hear it went well. Please take it easy coming back. With modern gallbladder surgery, you'll feel good but your body is healing from an organ being removed. So you might get extremely tired if you push too hard (as I found out the hard way). Count on a couple of months at least before you're back to full strength.

Michael Towne

My daughter had hers removed at 18. Definitely been a change but I am glad this is getting taken care of. Rest up and feel better.

Michael Keenan

Listen to your doctor, take it from someone who didn’t listen to his doctor and spent most of 2025 in and out of the hospital. Get well soon.

Blindsquirrel

Hopefully they can do the lap method, maybe they'll even give you a $2000 pillow to take home where you're supposed to hug it against your belly.Every time you cough. Go slow and even if you feel like it go slower until they say so , it's not worth going back
