There is a big Frieren hole in the schedule this week. Man, I miss it already. Cyberpunk Edgerunners will start the following week. I was hoping to get it started this week but my immune system said NOPE. I'm not sure of the frequency of the drops either, maybe Monday/Tuesday? Monday/Thursday? We will see how the editing team does at getting them done and go from there.

Aliens! I don't think I could wait to watch the next one so I decided to just go ahead and watch this week. I will be watching the Special Edition as I've received Instagram, YouTube and Patreon messages AND emails that it the one to watch. Message(s) received!

Xander is editing down the next 3 episodes of Andor and hopefully hey will be done soon! I am also hoping to work on Wednesday Season 2 as I'm dying to know what happens this season.

I need ideas for the next movie, pop some suggestions down below!

Lee Aguera

Nice. Aliens for my money is one of the best sequels of all time. You're gonna love it.

Chris Collier

Immune systems can be annoying like that. But I’m glad you’re doing alright! :) As for movies, I can name a few I’d like to see. Barbie, The Substance (this one’s a bit gross so maybe not if you’re squeamish), They Cloned Tyrone (mystery/comedy)

Michael French

Can’t wait for the aliens reaction, no spoilers, but James Cameron never fails

Timothy

Love your AOT reactions!!

silverarrow06

I would would love for you to watch the wonderful "Nimona". Given your other reactions to similar movies you will love it...😍 Please! 🙏🙏

Wedge

I would throw in a suggestion for the Abyss (also James Cameron). Another sci-fi flick that I really enjoyed.

John the Rambling Scriblerian

A bit of a throw back but… have you ever seen Ladyhawke? I just recently rewatched it and had forgotten how much I love it.

silverarrow06

She already watched "Barbie"...🙂

Chris Collier

Oh okay, thank you! I will check that out.

Rach

I'm always waiting impatiently for wednesday but even more so this week, and in a cruel twist of fate I might be too busy to watch it till a later date 😭

Patrick Waldeck

Feel better! It's probably best to be fully healthy for Edgerunners so you can process that sweet sweet trauma.

The Dreaded Scotsman

Curve ball movie suggestion of Bubba Ho-Tep https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0281686/ "After falling into a lengthy coma following a freak accident involving hip gyration, a now aged Elvis Presley (Bruce Campbell) wakes up in an East Texas nursing home, where he befriends Jack (Ossie Davis), an African-American senior who claims to be President John F. Kennedy. After residents of their quiet retirement community start dying of dubiously unnatural causes, Elvis and Jack discover that the perpetrator is Bubba Ho-Tep (Bob Ivy), an Egyptian mummy with murderous intentions."

Nathan Jasper

Hope you feel better soon! Everybody's been getting sick lately. Definitely that time of year! Movie suggestions for you (Sorry if you've already seen any of these): Last Night in Soho Black Phone Ballerina (John Wick spinoff) The Life of Chuck The Phoenician Scheme Queen of the Ring Fighting with My Family Spencer Constantine: City of Demons Heretic Cobweb We Live in Time Prometheus (Alien prequel) Love Lies Bleeding Sometimes I Think About Dying Bombshell She Said Silver Linings Playbook Dear Zoe Don't Worry Darling Bullet Train Dual (Karen Gillan) The Northman Umma Uncharted

Jeff Ratcliff

I hope you're feeling better. I'm particularly looking forward to your reaction to Doctor Who this week.

GO.

CYBERPUNK LETS FUCKING GOOO

Howie

YESSS!!! Aliens reaction! Lack of Frieren in the schedule is like a empty space in my heart!

TheUndeadFish

I'll second this. It's a good movie that I'd love to see more people react to.

funnylilgalreacts

It’s one of my favorite movies from when I was a kid. I would love to show my husband.

funnylilgalreacts

It’s possible I watched it as a kid, but there’s a lot of stuff I think I saw that I haven’t

John the Rambling Scriblerian

Well, to sweeten the pot, it stars Rutger Hauer, Michelle Pfieffer, and Matthew Broderick. IMO, peak 80s fantasy

Vexkun

Hope you are feeling better!! Missing Frieren too! As for movies, let see. Pacific Rim, giant mechanical, and monsters. Love letter to giant mechs anime, and Godzilla movies. Warcraft, high fantasy, based on the long running Warcraft games. No knowledge of the games needed.

Andy

Lucky number slevin Let the right one in(or the english(just as good as the original Swedish version) “Let me in”

Zephyr (AD)

Maybe some spy/action options? Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) Atomic Blonde (2017)

Paulo

Well if you need ideas for the next movie I have one just for you how about I don’t know if i mentioned this movie before Your Name I’m sure you’ll like it, also not ready for edgerunners I’m scare.

Leo Cap

movie ideas: Fern Gully (must-see) Room (Brie Larson) Uncle Buck (John Candy)

Merkavar

Movie suggestion - Upgrade Sci-fi action thriller sort of movie. Should pair well with cyberpunk

Joshua R

Have you ever watched Se7en?

Ben

Cannot wait for your DW reaction this week!

William

Just watched the new Frankenstein and I really enjoyed it so that'd be my suggestion if you're into that sort of thing

Nowhere Man

M3GAN and the 2.0 sequel

Firefly24601

Wednesday is gonna be A DAY!!!

Howie

I just noticed it says Sunday November 15th for the 9th. Do I win a prize? 😁

funnylilgalreacts

I am shocked. It went the entire day without somebody pointing that out!

Howie

Sorry! The only reason I noticed was because I wanted to know when planet of the apes was going to be posted 😐

funnylilgalreacts

No, it’s a weekly occurrence that something’s wrong with the schedule when I put it up 😂

Wedge

I would also recommend the original Predator if you’ve never seen it.

MaxValPlatt

I wonder if you had watched 6x7 and 6x8 episodes of Doctor Who together or decided to take a break between them. Definitely looking forward for your reaction for 6x7! And, if you might be interested, there was a midseason break between these episodes during original broadcast, so, it was definitely a long wait :)

Howie

oh yeah, for a movie recommendation: Karate Kid Legends

Frank (MetronV) Izzy

I mean, would it be absurd to suggest moving Doctor Who to another day and putting Wednesday in its spot for its Season 2 run? :D

Neil Gossell

As far as movies go there's some some awesome older school anime movies you could check out: -Memories (3 part anthology with 3 different aritists/directors.) -Akira (Cult classic and probably a lot of peoples intro into anime, it's a frigging trip but the animation is *chefs kiss* -Ghost in the Shell, actually kinda thematically similar setting to Edgerunners, it's a cyberpunk cop story -Jin Roh - an alternate history film set in a post-WWII Japan that was occupied by Germany and is experiencing political unrest. That's just the hook don't wanna give too much away : p - Paprika. A science-fiction anime film about a stolen device called the "DC Mini," which allows therapists to enter and record patients' dreams If you want a good laugh, you should do a double feature of "Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels", along side "Snatch". 2 movies by the same director, both hilarious. Snatch has a young Jason Statham and Brad Pitt ;p There's kinda an artsy film but I found it really intriguing and emotional/thought provoking called "The Fountain" featuring Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz. I saw it in theatre with 3 of my college mates in 2006. We were the only ones in the theatre and none of us said a word until it was finished. Up for more war stuff? Stalingrad (1993 German film), All Quiet on the Western Front, 1917, Thin Red Line.

Ash Davis

Cannot WAIT for Doctor Who this week!

Joshua R

I also recommend the new Frankenstein on Netflix. It's really good.

Riku Kurosaki

Edgerunners episodes are between 23-28 minutes, NOT an hour

KevandreCactus

Angela, do you have any plans to start Pluribus?👀 I mean, I can see waiting til the season's over but I am loving it so far

Forodrim

can'twait for the next andor part :)
