I don't know how many people lost on sleep to get this out so fast, but thank you to every single one of you :) !

Doug C

Still mid episode and so many questions. Most will be answered, but you know us critters, we want to help and explain, so if you have any remaining questions after this (or episode 3 also dropping now…) say the word and we’re here to explain. In the meantime, I’ll be over here biting my tongue. 😜

Vexkun

Same, after I watch 2 and 3 first.

Vexkun

Yeah. I must watch this campaign at least two full times. Love this group.

michael denny

in case you were wondering Trent sucks

Patrick Waldeck

The Cerberus Assembly is the same group that Delilah Briarwood in Vox Machina belonged to. They kicked her out before all the De Rolo business for doing horrific necromantic experiments. and bringing Sylas back to life.

Selganor Yoster

Not even 15 minutes in: "I hate you, Sir!" Seems like mission accomplished on showing who might be the bad guy on this series.

Michele Jean

There is so much that could be answered!! So many rhetorical questions!! That said, when I watched the first episode over the weekend, I was instantly hooked!

Rogier Oude Heuvel

You probably already learned this in the next episodes but Nott the Brave (the Goblin that Sam voices) is supposed to be a Gal not a Guy ;)

Michele Jean

One of your last questions was where this was in the campaign. Everything you just saw was pre-campaign.

Doug C

Post video: ok, I’ll keep biting my tongue on most of your questions as answers will likely come soon. But two quick clarifications on what you’ve seen: 1. Nott is a little goblin woman. The pitch is shifted higher because of Sam’s throat cancer treatments, but Nott is also a she. 2. You commented on some of the actors and I know you’ve seen Vox Machina. Do you remember the last time we heard Mark Strong in this universe? Let me know if you want clarification on that. Finally, the question you wanted answered from those of us that watched the campaign: LOVE IT!! It’s starting much differently, showing us things that were only alluded to as backstory, and some of that has changes already, but they’re smart, well reasoned changes for the speed change of the narrative. I hope you stay hooked through the next episodes and the rest of the character introductions!

michael denny

Trent probably made Sylas sick in the first place

Goodpath

Excellent! I'm excited for this Season, Show and Reaction! Let's Go!

Goodpath

since you asked at the end of the video, I came back to say, I recently re-watched the campaign, and this isn't the first hour or episode in the campaign. They took that raw material from the campaign and made this show, and I'm here for it. Feels true and good to the campaign, while also not exactly the same. Well done so far.

Nathaniel Castle

Trent is definitely the suckiest of the sucky, i am sooooo excited for this show!

Michael Kemmet

For the record, the techniques Beau uses are officially called: "dope monk shit". ;)

Michael Kemmet

And just to tug the heartstrings a bit, Caleb's cat is based on the real cat Liam had as a kid. So this really was a way to bring a beloved pet back for a bit.

Patrick Waldeck

I love playing monks but as a DM stunning fist makes we want to jump off a bridge :P

Akka

That scene with his cat really hurt, because I know what it's like to lose a furry companion and just want to be able to hold them one last time😢

Alexis Shetley

The mighty nein is basically just “the big nope” lol. I’m so excited to go through this series with you!!

Amber A

Nott and Caleb have my entire heart, right from jump. These first 3 episodes were so good!

Moricant

In the early stages of the original campaign, there was a period where everyone kept rolling 9s on the dice and they started mimicking Liam’s “Nein!” when they did so. That in-joke is what ultimately led to them calling the group The Mighty Nein, though I expect they will give us a better in-universe reason in this adaptation.

BMackVO

We told you that you were going to be drawn into this almost immediately.😉 The Krynn dynasty(Axiom) is in an area that's perpetually night time. The thieves opened a portal to the dwendalian empire. (Just a basic explanation) Our little dirt wizard is going to make you feel every emotion, and Nott is definitely going to tug at those heart strings. Just know that all your questions will be answered in time.

BMackVO

Just remember that Vox Machina were some of their first EVER characters they played in d&d. This group of characters they had even more time to put together and thought into. Caleb's cat there was an attempt to call a familiar. It *should* all be explained later.🤷

Jayson Phillips

The Barbarian is an AASIMAR Barbarian I believe based on the looks and symbol, they are an angelic race, The ones at the beginning looked like Drow (Dark Elves) and Bugbears I think, but since I saw no Spiders im guessing Seldrine Drow?

Paulo

I watched the campaign and the series has surpassed my expectations because this is my favorite campaign, also Yasha looks hot, muscle mommy.

PP82

The world is Exandria. There are no Seldarine or Lolth drow. They're just drow.
