Yasha's sig other is Zuala, played by Aimee Carrero. She's maybe best known for being the voices of Elena in Elana of Avalor and Adora/She-Ra in She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. She became linked to the CR family during Elana of Avalor, which was voiceover directed by Sam. CR invited her to be part of the Exandria Unlimited miniseries that took place between the end of Campaign 2 and the start of Campaign 3(summer of 2021). She's become a close part of the family since then and was just on the most recent episode of Dropout's Dirty Laundry with Matt, Taliesin, and Robbie Daymond. I highly suggest watching it for 45 minutes of hilarity.

The gala happened rather differently in the campaign but having Nathan Fillion send Beau in a frilly dress and Fjord as Captain Tight Pants to infiltrate a high society shindig was a stroke of genius. Other than that, I was very happy to see that they worked in Jester confusing Fjord by calling him Oskar (the name of the half-orc romantic lead from Tusk Love) and Tracy, a part of Beau that she revealed in different circumstances during the original campaign. Also Caleb counting things out, which was something he did several times early on, usually as part of a scam, so he may have underpaid Pumat by a gold or two for Nott’s flask. If you do end up watching Exandria Unlimited, there are a few different short campaigns - the one I think people are recommending in particular is the four episode Calamity run, which includes Nydas Okiro and Zerxus Ilerez.

Gonna be honest, even when the campaign was airing I always hated Essek. He's a war criminal and a coward. Also calling Vess a ho had me cackling.

For the ExU Calamity reactions: each episode is divided in two parts with some ads in between, so if doing four 4-6 hour reactions is too much of a commitment, you can do eight 2-3 hour reactions, each covering half an episode.

Essek: most definitely a war criminal, I just like a complicated villain lol! Also, in the campaign, they witness the explosion and wizard fight from the ground. I LOVE the inclusion of throwing them straight into the action.

I guess just to throw in my 2 cents, I can understand being frsutrated with Essek but I don't think he's wholly wrong. He betrays his nation. Sure, but a nation of zealots who would rather immediately execute people for having magic dementia then even consider allowing him to research a cure simply because their religion says so. So he risks everything and he does find the cure after a small amount of research! So it was absolutely possible if they had just allowed him to try. And even in the middle of his research when he realizes the people who helped him are fucking crazy he threatens Trent and realizes he can't take the Beacon back because he's alone there. So he just keeps working. Then when he realizes he won't be able to just take back the Beacon and his friend is about to die he risks everything again to save him, only for his friend to confront him and allow his mother to find out. Which then leads to Essek being forced to kill his own mother. And she tells him to retrieve the Beacon, something he cannot do if he died, which Verrat knew would happen when he tells the Bright Queen, so Essek kills him first. From Essek's view Verrat confronting him is the reason he had to kill his own mother. I do think he isn't wholly in the right, he risked the lives of the whole nation after all, but I don't think his actions are iredeemable either. He just wanted anyone to give him a chance to save his mom. All that being said I'm so excited for season 2 and for you to see where everything goes! I love how attached you are to everyone and this show is just gonna get better and better. Beau and Jester were always my favorites but god if it isn't impossible to love every member of the Nein! I can barely bring myself to say anyone isn't my fave lol. Love the reactions <3

His research plan involved handing his people's most precious artifact to a known psycho, whose agents murderer dozens of people stealing it, knowing it would start a war. Then he essentially murdered his best friend and his mom died anyways so it was all for nothing. How do people simp for this monster?

In what world is Trent a known psycho? Part of his power and stature come from most people believing he is just a well respecting professor and member of the kings court. And yeah he did essentially murder his best friend…just like Verrat was going to get Essek killed when he tells the Bright Queen. There’s no way to try to fix his mistakes and honor his mother’s last request if he’s dead. And the only way out was to get rid of the person who would get him killed. His mother did die for nothing, and that would break anyone who gave everything up to save that person. And Verrat confronting him was what started the whole chain of events that led to Essek having to kill her. Did Essek do bad shit? Yeah absolutely 100% but it’s not like other people here are without fault and it’s not like Essek didn’t had valid motivations

I just found out that Astrid was voiced by Ivanna Sakhno. She is the Ukrainian actor who also plays Shin Hati in Ahsoka. Astrid being beautiful makes MUCH more sense!
