I was so looking forward to this and it was all that I hoped for. I just knew you would love this episode so much...😍 Both girls did such a wonderful job playing the other character, it was simply a great joy to watch this two very talented young actresses. Emma Myers did a great Wednesday, could be because she initially auditioned for the role before it went to Jenna Ortega. I think Jenna Ortega had the tougher job, because Emma Myers adds a natural bubbly-ness to Enid that is very hard to reproduce. You can easily overdo it, but Jenna Ortega managed to not overstep the fine line between acting and over-acting...😊 Actually Emma Myers said that she found it very intimidating to do this part. She only got the script a month before filming, but because they were filming episodes 2 and 3 at the time they had no time for rehersals. Also they didn't want to walk into the trap of doing easy, cheap impressions of each other...🤷🏻‍♂️ In hindsight (don't worry, I spoil nothing) it is unbelievable how many clues you already missed to where all this is going. But don't worry, they did a great job in hiding things in plain sight, I only got this now in my re-watch with you...😅🙈

This is the highest rated episode of both seasons. Some corrections. 1: Wednesday IS alergic to color. The mushroom pills control it. If you notice Enid in Wednesdays body had to take the whole bottle to counter her doing the kpop dance. 2; Jenna went over the top while pretending to be Enid during the Kpop dance scene because Enid was trying to embarass her in front of the school so even she was going over the top while in Wednesdays body. 3: Orloff isn't Rotwoods husband. He merely mentioned to Capri that she taught in the music room back in the day. 4: Francoise would still be Tylers master even if her Hyde powers were removed. It's not the powers that make her his master, it's that she his is mother. Fun fact. This episode was not in the pitch meeting according to Jenna infact she didnt know about it until about a month before and Emma found out two weeks ahead filming. They were both freaked out because they didn't want to come off as cheesy or mess up the other persons character and both have confessed that it was the hardest thing they've done so far on the show, with Jenna saying she was glad it was Emma she was doing it with. They had very little prep time so they watched the first season to study mannerisms and recorded themselves doing beach other lines to study. Al Gough said while onset he thought it was Emma speaking when infact it was Jenna her vocal inflection was that good. The two also coached and even directed each other during the scenes they shared. They both said the hardest part was the solo scenes. Emma had trouble staying so still and getting Wednesdays gliding walk right. While Jenna said she hadn't had to be that energetic on a set in a very long time.

This is the episode I've been waiting for. This episode is just fun and entertaining, but my favorite part about it BY FAR is just how impressive both leads are in this episode. Both of them truly got to show off their acting chops and both performed incredibly well. It's funny to think about how Emma initially auditioned to play Wednesday and judging by this episode, she honestly could've done it. Jenna is better as Wednesday, but Emma could've done it really well too. I wouldn't have been disappointed if it had been her.
