I really loved this episode. I have to yet again compare it to the Anime as my base reference since it's what I already know, and without spoiling anything, the one thing I will have to point out is the story is almost 1:1 with the Anime, with minor and major tweaks in terms of story plot or characters that show up at different point. They made a lot of good changes which really works for the live-action. Igaram is probably an interesting character with that big hair of his. xD with Mihawk showing up haunting Zoro like that, that was never in the original manga or anime, and I think it was a good change addition for the live-action.

Nathanael Fuller (Polygon Wizard)

This is my favorite episode of the season, which is saying something since all of the episodes are great! The Whiskey Peak Saloon set is amazing and they use every single inch of it during the big fight. Speaking of the fight, the choreography was creative and fun to watch. Glad that we got to see Zoro take out all 100 opponents. More things that I loved about this episode: The Whiskey Peak Saloon theme song is a freaking bop and a half! Been listening to it a lot since watching this episode. Love that I felt so much for Igaram and Vivi as soon as their true identities are revealed despite them having very little screen time to pull that off. Hell, I even got to like Mr. 9 more than I would've expected due to his final scene. I love a bunch of the smaller things about this episode too like the ridiculous cupcake vehicle, Sanji's bartending, and Usopp's dart playing. I say this episode was my favorite of the season, but there are a couple more future episodes that may just tie with this one for me too. Can't wait to see what you think of the rest of the season!

I have to agree that I think the changes they made for the live action were good. I don't at all miss the Luffy vs Zoro fight.

Tashigi is also ostensibly not a bad guy, Zoro has no reason to kill her. The soundtrack this season is incredible, I don't even like sax all that much but "Whisky Peak Saloon" slaps.

"I've trusted these people for all of five seconds, and I'm getting emotional over them." Well shame on you for not trusting Luffy's gut. Though to be honest, it is understandable. Keep in mind that the world of One Piece follows the Japanese convention of putting the family name first. So when you refer to the princess, you should call her Vivi, not Nefertari. For example, her father's name is Nefertari Cobra. I can't say for sure that it's true, but I read somewhere that Mackenyu insisted that there actually be 100 actors in the Zoro fight.

Another great episode! Fun fact, the twin sister in the purple dress is Nami's actress' stunt double!

I'm loving the changes from the anime/manga. I mean, this show can't be as long as the anime/manga, unfortunately. Love how they're pulling stuff we don't see for 100s of eps/chs, and adding it in where it makes sense. Mihawk haunting Zoro is great, nice way to keep to actor around, he kills the role as Mihawk. The character casting and designs are on point! Going to do a rundown at the end of the season of all the Devils Fruit users will see.
