Paddington is really nice. It brings back some earlier childhood memories of watching the TV show of Paddington Bear in the UK, they used stop-motion figure of a bear dressed up in a raincoat with a hat, and everything else would be hand drawn with animated cells. There's a YouTube channel called 'Paddingtonbeartoons' all one word, they have really old and short clips of the old show.

Paddington might not be winning in the polls but I found it one of the most enchanting films of recent years. It has a magical English quality with unique touches that will remind Angela of certain Doctor. I cannot recommend it enough.

The Nice Guys is severely underrated. Horrible marketing at the time led to it being a flop. It's genuinely the best thing Shane Black has ever done and Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe are fantastic together.

I always try to recommend The Boogie Man Will Get You, - 1942 - with Peter Lorre and Boris Karloff, which is a comedy thriller, a tongue-in-cheek horror caper where laughs and screams dance hand in hand. It's a free movie on YouTube - which I didn't know until I was typing this, so that's a nice surprise.

From this list, I'd say 21 Jump Street is gonna give you a fun time between all these serious shows. But both that movie, and Megamind is good for you to have because they're constantly referenced in things. So voting for them!

Ok Patreon to Discord can only be done via a web browser and not via the phone app but got it done using a browser on my iPhone instead of the Patreon App neither it nor the Discord iPhone app supports each other weird because the Discord app supports linking multiple other services just not Patreon adding info here in case it helps others out in the future might be helpful to have a direct Discord link somewhere in the Patreon info for the channel maybe in the about section or a links area in Posts or community ?! Just a suggestion I’ll let Angela and the mods figure it out

Most of the movies listed are what I would call "entertaining", Megamind and Paddington are the two I would classify as "fun" and I think Megamind is probably the most fun of the two.

Megamind is kind of underrated. I think it was released the same time as minions and got overshadowed. If it released 6 months earlier or later I would imagine we would have got a sequel or trilogy out of it.

I’m a little disappointed that “The Menu” is trailing, but I’m sure you’ll get to it eventually. Obligatory reminder for two films I’ve recommended before, two that have so far failed to be picked up by any reactor, “A Scanner Darkly” with it’s all star cast, and “Le Pacte des Loups” aka “Brotherhood of the Wolf”, a brilliant French period piece thriller/action/horror. Sub not Dub on that one, please.

I repeat my comment because it has disappeared. The Nice Guys is the fun one AS I think animated movies take you out of reality. I did not say The Nice Guys was animated but the opposite. Non animated make you have to do physical things that can be done in the real world
