EDIT: Zootopia 2 needed to be moved to July 4th. We had a really hard time with copyright claims on Alien Resurrection and that put me a bit behind.

MOVIES- Lots of sequels this month! I'm trying to tick off movies in the "Suggestion" section on Discord and Patreon as quickly as I can. Y'all are the priority here! Gattaca has been requested since I started doing reactions and I'm excited to FINALLY get to watch it!

The Legend of Vox Machina is back! I'm so excited for season 4. I haven't watched ANY trailers so I can go it totally blind. It feels like forever since I saw the crew together, definitely expecting tears though. It is Critical Role after all.

Cowboy Bebop has been so much fun. I never know where we are going or what we are doing (mostly getting into or finding trouble). The music is AMAZING. Thank you editor Xander for making 2 versions so we can have the music included without copyright vultures getting us!

Doctor Who.... ooof. Peter is amazing, but is he the Doctor? TBD. It's been a bumpy start, I'm hoping the things I loved about previous Doctors are in this one too.

BABYLON 5. Why didn't I watch this sooner??? Every episode is fantastic! Every character is so multifaceted. And the effects are surprisingly great for 1993. The story underneath it all is what is making my brain tickle :: Insert Charlie Day meme here::: OOH BOY is it good!

I'm REALLY looking forward to this month!

So I acctually hated when peter capaldi was the next doctor that I literally refused to watch doctor who, then few years later I grew up and decided to give him a chance and he is now my favourite doctor.

Happy to see how much you already like Babylon 5. With TNG, Farscape, BSG, 12 Monkeys and Lost it's up there with my favorite shows. Of course there are other shows I loved, but there aren't many that I have repeatedly watched. I just hope you will be able to avoid spoilers.

Capaldi's doctor gets better in my opinion with season 9 onwards. There's some elements in season 8 I feel get in the way of the story and character (both) progression.

Peter is definitely The Doctor . . but he is The Capaldi Doctor with eyebrows with which you could remove bottle tops! Really chuffed that you also like Babylon Five! Personally, Who and Five are my own favourite SF series.

Exactly. He was a bit prickly in his first bunch of episodes, but the more I got to understand him the more I started to love him even in these early episodes. I'd even say not only is he my favourite Doctor too, but one of my absolute favourite characters in general (along with Clara) and while there's plenty of great characters in or out of the show...it took until just last year for me to come across someone who at the very least matches him.

Better late than never om B5!!!! You're in for a great ride!!! Been so enjoying your reactions to it!!! B5 one of the shows you can watch for the frist time twice! You can see all the foreshadowing and seeds being planted that payoff seasons later. How did I miss Vox coming back!!!

From 2 episodes? Where it's quite a common opinion that he isn't particularly likeable at the start of his run? That's ridiculous! Stick to it though. It definitely gets better. I could see how upset you were that you didn't like him, so it's not like you're disliking him for the sake of it. You clearly want to like him

Thank you for being patient and sticking with him. I promise it’ll be worth it. For a little background, Matt Smith based his Doctor alot off of the 2nd Doctor, but Capaldi’s favorite Doctor was the 3rd, who was a man of action and more serious (though he could be silly!) , so he based some of his character off of him. This week’s episode is a more silly one. I look forward to your reaction! ❤️

I think once you've seen more Capaldi and have a better understanding of his doctor and how he see's things, you'll come to have more of an appreciation of what these first couple of episodes were trying to achieve. All thats not to say your current feelings are wrong though! when the Doctor says to Clara at the end of deep breath "Just see me", that was for the audience as much as it was for her because he is so different to whats come before.

Yay! Happy to be one of the ones who suggested Gattaca haha, can't wait for the reaction! As for Peter's Doctor, it really does take a few episodes to get warmed up and build a connection with him, but it will come!

As a guy who struggled with him at first, but grew to love him, yeah he's tough to get into, but there are rewards. He does soften up, he does become kinder. Much like the First Doctor, he stops being so cantankerous and starts being more whimsical and grandfather-like.

Sad to say, Angela, that even Patreon members aren't immune from being Homo anthropochaotica ineptus. But, I tell you what, how's about a little challenge. How about watching a two-parter Hartnell and, specifically, 'Edge Of Destruction' or the first three serials and either way with Nathanael. With regards to Capaldi, who knew these serials well, you may - as Satai Delenn might say - "find them most interesting!" After all, you've now seen Adventure In Space and Time. Maybe it's time to see the real First Doctor as we saw him and not an imitation.

You're already digging Babylon 5 that much this early? Holy ... you are in for one hell of a Space Shit saga. BTW, so far as the VFX, pretty much every show using CGI has B5 to thank for innovating the tech on the small screen. The team that worked on it moved to 90's Trek (DS9 / VOY) and eventually to BSG.
