Sybil (Shirly Mason) was an art teacher and famous for having multiple personality disorder (16 distinct personalities). She was identified as just "Sybil" in a popuar book in the 1970s and two movies (Sally Field won her first Emmy for playing Sybil in the TV Movie). Sybil had been abused by her mother as a child and that is supposed to have triggered developing multiple personalities. Ultron called Vision Sybil to indicate that his AI's are his multiple personalities and they are a diease.

In the comic version from the 30s/40s Professor Phineas Horton created the original Human Torch or Jim Hammond an android/synthezoid that could burst into flame and fly (just like the Fantastic Four one). During WWII he fought alongside Captain America and Namor against those nasty Germans. It was his body, or at least the spare parts, that later became Vision's body which was in part created by Ultron. So in this episode you have Grandfather (mentioned), father Ultron, Vision and son, not to forget all the nieces and nephews (Jarvis, Friday, Edith, etc). What a family. Of course some of this origin might have been revised and altered since I last read them.
