it was Stephen King! but.. that was not his ending. after this came out Stephen King lamented that he did not come up with that ending first.

There is a theory that the crazy lady in the store was a prophet and was ignored because of her other issues. The theory states that the mist would not have been beatable if her prophecies had not occurred… meaning the people had to die or the mist would have stayed even though they played out simultaneously. The film writer has not affirmed or denied this theory at least that I have found.

Frank Darabont directed Shawshank redemption as well and the late Andre Braugher played the neighbour.

Yeah, the books ending was much more open ended and hopeful.

I am ashamed at all the gleeful reactions I had to Angela's reactions (and outright cursing) when the spider-like creatures made an appearance.

I hadn't realized there were so many people I recognized from TWD, and had completely forgotten Sam Witwer was in it. There was a short-lived 10 episode series that came out in 2017 that was a good watch (for me). although it did deviate a bit from the book.

It’s been so long since I watched this that I totally forgot there were spiders in this movie. I’m going to have to show this to my wife. She hates spiders as much as you do. 😂 Also Killer Klowns is a great movie. I think it’s one of the first horror flicks I remember watching as a kid.
