Progress Report - May 6, 2025 (Patreon)

Hello, everyone!

I apologize for being so late in making this week's Progress Report. The hyperfocus kicked in hard on getting progress made the past few days, and I completely lost track of time.

If you're extremely observant and squint really hard, you may have noticed that Barbara has lip-sync in this post's preview GIF. That's because Milly managed to come in with the steel chair and save the day, just moments before I ran out of runway!

Sunday afternoon saw her submit all of her audio, with less than 30 seconds of Innie's non-sex dialogue left to lip-sync, which I then proceeded to process and install. I then quickly finished up lip-syncing Innie's non-sex dialogue, and immediately jumped into lip-syncing all of Milly's non-sex dialogue.

As of Monday evening, all of the non-sex audio has been fully lip-synced! Which means that the only lip-sync left to do for the project is the sex audio. After that, I move onto gesticulations and detail animation.

If all goes well, it is entirely likely that I will be ready to start the 4k render by this time next week! Very exciting! It's a bit later than I wanted, but I'm okay with it broad-strokes!

Beyond Batcat, the Marie/Honoka video has been fully baked down and rendered out, and is currently in the process of sound design. It'll likely be released before next week's Progress Report.

And then finally, over on Bluesky I've been pondering game ideas for the past few days, in an attempt to get the Saturday game-dev streams back up and running. Lately, I've been dialing in on a Life is Strange lewd game (to no one's surprise), and I spent today putting together a proof-of-concept of what I have in mind.

It's not quite ready to be shown off publicly. I'll tinker with it on Thursday, which is my day off, and try to get it ready for proper showing. The Bluesky embedded version is going to be slightly truncated due to the 3-minute video limit, and the full video I'll be linking in that eventual bleet will be cut short of my original plans. But even then, I think it'll be enough to get the idea across.

I'm not committing to it, but so far I think it's what I am really vibing toward. I know it won't be particularly popular, not compared to something with the DOAFantasy ladies or Curvy Liz or the likes. But the heart wants what the heart wants. And apparently the heart wants a confusing mix of wholesome cute gay girls and nasty degenerate group shenaniganery.
