Progress Report - August 11, 2025 (Patreon)

Hello, everyone!

It's been a pretty busy week, which is a good thing! In fact, it's been so busy, I completely forgot that I had intended to work on the Pharmmetra Micro. Instead, I had worked on two other Micros! But before we talk about those, a brief Frozen update:

Not too much to report here. I'm somewhere between a third and a fourth of the way done installing all of the audio. I ended up not working on it as much as I wanted to this week, because I felt into a lot of unintended rabbit-holes, a lot of "this should take 15 minutes - 8 hours later" situations.

I'm just about out of that snare though, and so I am expecting to get more work done on Frozen this week.

Marie/Honoka Micro Arc

One of the two Micros I worked on this past week is a 6-episode Micro Arc for the Marie/Honoka Micro series, "A Short Love Story."

I have the first episode of this Arc fully blocked out, sans the very ending. I'm not quite sure the best way to segue it into the following episode, which is actually a problem all of the episodes of this Arc currently has. I have the context and the core of each episode planned out, it's just the sinew binding it all together that I still need to resolve. But I'm fully confident I will!

This Arc begins to get both the A-plot and the B-plot of the series into motion. The A-plot of the series is Honoka and Marie getting into sex work together, beginning with Marie's throat-work for Helena established in both the 10-minute short that started this series and the pilot Micro episode that kickstarted this whole Micro system, before they eventually strike off on their own. The B-plot is the girls exploring and deepening their complicated feelings for one another, because I'm a simple man and I like sapphic heterosexuality, eg ladies that have straight sex but lesbian romance.

I have the whole A-plot drafted out at a very high level which you can read here. Be aware that it is pulled from a Discord chat-log where I just sort of free-associated the whole plot out of sleep-deprived thin air, so it isn't strictly structured nor is it terribly precise. The B-plot I don't have nearly as strong a grip on, beyond "the girls do the gay". For years now, I have had in mind a particular sequence of Honoka gifting Marie a gang-bang on their wedding night, telling the lads to "send my wife home pregnant." I'd really like to finally exercise that idea, but I don't know how well that'd fit with the Micro structure, let alone this specific story path. But we'll see!

Primordium Episode 2 - Micro Arc Edition!

A few days ago, I had someone ask me if the death of the Short meant that Primordium was canceled. I told them that, unless I can find a way to make Primordium work as a Micro series, then it will have to wait until after Overbreed Episode 1 and Blue Star Episode 4 are done.

That got me thinking about what a Micro adaptation of Primordium would look like. Almost immediately, I recognized that my plans for Episode 2 (the details of which has plagued me for years at this point, as the astute amongst you likely know) could be easily adapted to a 3-episode Micro Arc, since Episode 2 was always segmented into 3 parts - each of the ladies sampling Primordium and having the most unhinged magic-fueled sex of their lives, hooking them on the idea of "we have to get more and will move mountains to do so."

I needed to slightly augment my plans for the episode to fit a Micro Arc adaptation--the original plan was for them all to get fucked relentlessly simultaneously, but just as their magic-fueled partners are about to cum, the tiny Primordium samples they took wear off, leaving the ladies denied their sticky finish and frustrated for it. Due to the structure of Micros, with each episode being a fully self-contained sequence including a finisher, I had to rewrite it slightly and give the ladies their protein filling. But I think the broader intent of the episode is still retained - the ladies have had a taste of what Primordium-powered sex is like, and they want more.

What that Primordium-powered sex looks like has been a source of much grief for me over the past few years. I've wanted to do something with tentacles for one of the ladies pretty much since inception, but exactly what and with who has changed around a fair bit. Most recently, I had converged on this idea of Triss controlling multiple clones of herself and having them all fuck each others' brains out, with her experience the sensations of each of them.

Most recently, I had the idea of taking the core behind that idea and running with it, shifting my focus from making the sex visually extreme--something that only can be achieved with the most powerful magic--to instead making it sensually extreme. For Triss, the power of Primordium isn't coming from the fact she's controlling 10 clones all fucking each other--it's coming from the fact she is able to feel having sex 10 different ways simultaneously.

With that in mind, I decided to give Ciri a tentacle all-the-way-through experience. It's not the visuals of the tentacles that are the focus, but instead Ciri focusing on the sensations of having a tentacle snake all the way through her guts and then go right back to fucking her. Something that would normally be physically impossible, but with Primordium is not only possible, but pleasurable. She gets all the pleasant sensations of having her guts fucked, without any of the painful (and lethal) sensations that would realistically come with that. Because it's magic.

And then finally for Yennefer, who has given me the most stress of the three, I decided to go all gas no brakes on the setup of her being a butt-slut. She can feasibly do double anal, and with some straining and patience she could probably pull off triple anal. But quad anal? You'd be hard pressed even being able to get that many bodies back in there, without all of the legs getting in the way. Pent-anal? Nevermind the logistics of getting the people back there, there's no way her asshole would be able to physically fit five dicks at once. Normally. But we're not talking about normal anal here. We're talking about Primordium-fueled anal. We're talking about magic anal. So fuck it. Primordium makes her ass able to stretch enough to fit nine magically-summoned dicks in her ass once. And like with Ciri's tentacle shenaniganery, she only experiences the pleasure of being stretched out and having nine dicks fucking her at different rates, without any of the negative effects of what that would realistically entail.

So yeah. I have Triss's episode fully written out, and have a mental map of what Ciri's will entail. Yennefer's is the least-developed so far, though I do know I intend to have hers be an escalation, starting with 3 dicks and working her way up to 9. Technically speaking that shouldn't be too difficult, as I can just animate all 9 of them, and then simply turn off 6 of them initially, adjust the animation to fit, and then slowly bring them back in. It's all technically one animation still, just paced out iteratively. Ciri's tentacle animation is similarly one animation, just split into 3 parts - first just the mouth fucking, then the mouth-to-ass spitroasting, and then finally the mouth-ass-pussy trifecta. All built off a single animation, just with parts disabled and then gradually re-enabled. Triss is the only one where it's a whole lot of animations, but each of them is just a single relatively simple core, with no complex transitions beyond the finisher. So while it's a bit heavier than I'd like for a Micro, for a one-off I am willing to accept it.

Looking ahead, I am unsure of how to adapt the rest of my Primordium ideas to Micro arcs. I think the best approach will be to take multiple currently-unrelated ideas, and tie them together in some way. As an example, I have unrelated episode ideas for Triss seducing a work crew for information, and Ciri fucking a werewolf. I can bind those together in an Arc, by having the construction crew working on a building that was destroyed by a monster attack - Triss seduces the crew for information on the monster attack, while Ciri goes out looking for (and later fucking) said monster.

I don't know what Yennefer should be doing in this hypothetical Arc though, and I think that is something I need to figure out. I think if I can figure out something for all 3 ladies to do for each Arc, then we could have a consistent set of 3-episode Arcs for Primordium. Each Arc sees each lady get naughty, one episode per lady, while the overall Arc works toward an imminent plot point and progresses toward the larger overall story.

I think that could work out quite well. Question is if I can pull it off.

New Helena, Who Dis?

And then finally, the last major thing I've worked on the past week is building Helena onto the new Prototype 5 DOAFantasy body. I figured that, if I am going to be making a 6-episode Marie Micro, of which Helena is involved in a minor capacity, I should finally build her a proper model.

The last Marie Micro, I actually just headhacked Helena together in SFM, combining her Prototype 3 build (the last publicly-released build from circa 2020) with Mila's Prototype 4 build. This is a really jank solution, and it causes technical problems besides. So I decided to just do it right.

This proper build of her is actually also using her Prototype 3 build as a base, preserving her faceposing and custom hair rigging. I figured that, all things being equal, there is no reason for me to reinvent the wheel if I can avoid it. That ended up presenting its own set of challenges, and I don't know if I really saved myself any time with the approach, or if it would've been faster just building her from scratch.

Either way though, she's fully assembled, rigged, and faceposed. I also decided to bring back her classic blue dress from the games, though this time I decided to pointedly not make it a dress, and instead just keep the upper half of her coat. Because I am never going to animate a fucking dress by hand again if I can help it, and I haven't gotten around to exploring the Blender animation pipeline yet (that is slated to be done after the Frozen video, while I wait for it to render).

While working on Helena's new outfit, I finally decided to look into how much of a pain it would be to reproject UVs onto retopologized meshes in 3dsmax. I had expected it to be as painful as projecting textures is in 3dsmax, and so I have never even looked into it before. It turns out, 3dsmax has native tools for projecting UVs, and they are both disgustingly easy to use and they work disgustingly well.

In practice, this means that I can easily make high-poly versions of the outfits that are both much easier for me to work with, and will look much better as their final products, than before I had figured this out.

Once I have Helena's outfit finished and have the whole setup in SFM, I will be able to fully block out the Marie arc. I can't really do that as-is, since they all involve Helena to some extent or another, and I can't involve Helena if I don't have a working model for her. So, priorities.

Final Thoughts

I completely spaced the Pharmmetra/Mercy Micro Arc until I started writing this post, and I read back last week's post to see what all I said I wanted to get done. At this point, I'm not sure which Micro Arc to do first: the 4-episode Pharmmetra Arc, the 6-episode Marie Arc, or the 3-episode Primordium Arc.

Amusingly and annoyingly, all three of them need 3 unique voice actresses, and there is a lot of overlap between the three of them. The Pharmmetra Arc needs Bordeaux (Pharah), Datura (Symmetra), and Milly (Mercy); the Marie Arc needs Candy (Marie), Milly (Honoka), and Innie (Helena); and the Primordium Arc needs Bordeaux (Ciri), Milly (Triss), and Innie (Yennefer). All three of them have 2 actresses in common between each other (Bordeaux for both Pharmmetra and Primordium; Innie for both Marie and Primordium; and then Milly for all three of them!)

So there is no real "pick whichever one needs less voice actors", since they all not only need the same amount of voice actors, but largely the same exact voice actors. And the summer is always a real crap-shoot as to whether or not voices are available - a lot of the voice talent I work with have families, and summer means that school is out and so finding time to record can be difficult. I've had this bite me in the ass before, with some projects ended up being delayed several weeks into a few months just so voice actresses can find the alone time to record.
