Hello, everyone!

All of Mimi's absolutely fantastic audio for the Frozen video has been installed, synced, and exported out into Davinci Resolve. Additionally, all of the transition cuts and cross-fades that I had lost when I reformatted some months back have been remade.

With all of that in tow, and including the short narrative intro that served as the pitch for this whole project back in 2022 (and not including any credits), the video clocks in at a whopping 59:41. I am strongly tempted to make the credits be at least 20 seconds long, just so the video can breach the one-hour mark.

The next thing to do for the Frozen video is go through the 24 separate project files, and apply the outfits to all of the lads. This will be largely automated, as I have a tool that automatically generates and assigns outfits based on any given character's uniquely identifiable characteristics, which is qualified as their face texture, their skin tone, and their penis size (the most important characteristic, to be sure).

I say largely automated, because if there are any outfits that are generated that I don't particularly like, such as combinations of shirt and pants that clip through each other, then I will have to undo the tool application, figure out the unique identifiers for the offending characters, go into the generated data file which stores the assigned outfits everyone, and then manually change the outfit that was generated for them.

It's not difficult work by any means, but it is a bit slower than just a fire-and-forget fully automated system. The price I pay for wanting to maintain creative control over the process, I suppose.

I should be able to get all of that done this week, assuming there are no catastrophic flaws in the tool that I wrote (laughs nervously) and there aren't too many outfits I have to manually change.

Once all of the outfits are applied, the next thing to do is to go through all of the source files for said outfits and fix the rigging on them, as well as fix any potential clipping. I know for a fact that there are some shirts and pants that have rigging applied to the penis bones, meaning that the shirt and pants move weird as the penis is animated. And I know there is at least one shirt model that is really puffy, and so the penis ends up clipping right through it. All of that will need to be fixed, and there are 14 unique pants models and 25 unique shirt models I will have to account for.

I don't expect to have all of that done by this time next week. But I should be a fair ways along.

Beyond the Frozen video, which has been the bulk of my focus, I have also been making good progress on Micros. The third episode of the Pharmmetra Micro is almost done, currently clocking in at 119 seconds before the finale. I expect the third episode to clock in around 2.5 minutes in total. As of right now, the three episodes are clock in around 330 seconds total, or 5.5 minutes. Once the third episode is finished, and the fourth episode made, I expect the full 4-episode Micro Arc to clock in around 8 minutes, averaging 2 minutes an episode.

Hopefully I will also get all of those done and shipped out for voicing before next week.

In addition to the Pharmmetra Micro Arc, I have also been making progress on the Marie/Honoka Micro Arc. That wasn't initially planned, but I ended up not having anything else for us to do for last Sunday's stream, and so I said "fuck it we'll work on the Marie/Honoka Micro Arc." We ended up getting all of the core animation done for all 6 episodes of that Arc, as well as the first 85 seconds of the first episode.

Pharmmetra is still the Micro Arc I am focusing on, but Marie/Honoka will definitely be the next one, just because of how much work has already been done on it. And then again, for posterity, when I say "Micro Arc I am focusing on", I mean "focusing on" in the sense of "when I spend an hour or so before bed working on stuff, that is what I am working on." I'm not spending full days working on these Micros, and I don't even work on them every night - sometimes I'm just too tired. But I try to get an hour of work in a day on them.

At any rate, that's all for now!

Until next time, everyone!
