Progress Report - May 13, 2026 (Patreon)

Hello, everyone!

I apologize for posting this week's Progress Report a day late. I totally spaced writing it yesterday. With that in mind, let's discuss the usual suspects: Overbreed, Love & Degeneracy, and other endeavors.

Right up top, Overbreed audio continues to come in, L&D is just about ready for its final episode release, and I've been doing far more irresponsible forward thinking than I honestly should be doing.

Over the past week, Cinder's Sombra audio for the last narrative section of Overbreed came in, and was processed and installed. I think you all are going to absolutely love her performance - I know I sure do!

Earlier today, we locked in the first dubbing sequence. I am hoping that audio will come in later this week. I won't lie when I say I am curious to see how that goes - this is the first time I have worked with Cinder, and everyone does dub audio a little bit different.

We already discussed the various different methods I've seen it done over the years, and what her preferred style is. And I can already tell that I am going to have my work cut out when it comes to processing her audio. She prefers recording the dub straight, which is the most intuitive and straightforward to record a dub, but also implies that my timing is absolutely perfect.

As you all know, nothing I do is even close to perfect, and that includes my timing. As such, I prefer to have two separate audio tracks in dubs - one that is pure non-dialogue sounds, and another that is blended dialogue. This allows me to effortlessly move the dialogue around, to adjust timings as necessary. It also requires more effort and planning to achieve, either on the recording ending or on the processing end.

And since Cinder won't be recording separate tracks that way, it means that the process will fall on me to synthesize the audio into those two tracks. This isn't an issue, I have done it many times before - virtually every project I've ever released has had at least one dub track I have needed to do this on. But it does take time, which means processing the dub audio when it comes in will take longer than it otherwise would have.

My ambitions for Love and Degeneracy Episode 6 unfortunately fell short. I noted in last week's Progress Report that I was hoping to have the final 4k render done and ready to go by end-of-day Monday (with ambitions of having it done by end-of-day Friday).

That never happened, unfortunately. The ADHD burnout was flaring hard last week. It was becoming increasingly difficult to focus on the last bit of work that had to be done, and at one point I was just physically unable to bring myself to care about the detail work.

As such, I ended up needing to drag the episode over the finish line. But we got there, and overall I am immensely satisfied with the final result. Less happy with the struggle it was to get there, but that's just one of the many fun and exciting consequences of spicy brain.

It definitely feels like 6 episodes, or 3 months, is just about the limit that my ADHD can focus on a single task. The restlessness gets to the point where I just really itch to do something else - doing more core animation, as opposed to the same lip-sync and detail-work over and over again.

As such, I have pretty much firmly committed to that 2-week break in between projects that I mentioned last week. I definitely think I am going to need it just as a reset, before jumping back into things.

It also makes me afraid of how the Short Love Story chapter is going to go. I'm hoping that the sheer quantity of face-fucking, which famously doesn't need lip-syncing, will offset the ADHD grind.

Which I suppose is good a segue as anyways to get into other endeavors. The most notable thing in this department is that, as you can tell, I finally managed to get the 2026 Micros timeline finished and put together.

I've been informally referred to this collection of 4 Micro projects, all of which are already at various stages of completion due to various complicated factors, as "my plans for 2026." I didn't realize at the time that they would literally would be my plans for all of 2026, though. And a few weeks of 2027 to boot.

It wasn't until I sat down with a calendar and formally put together this timeline that it sank in that it actually will take the rest of this year to get through it all. The calendar rolling over in 2027 was a bit of an "oh shit" moment.

So yeah. I hope ya'll have been enjoying the regular releases every 2 weeks. Because you're going to be getting a lot of them. Another 8 months' worth of them, in fact.

Beyond the timeline, a lot of my time has been spent briefly entertaining and otherwise organizing my thoughts for the future. I have posted a few of them on Bluesky over the past week or so, such as this storyboard draft for an Overbreed Episode 2 sequence (and its second part), and this thought for a later Love and Degeneracy episode. I've posted a few other thoughts over on my Bluesky as well - it's definitely something you should keep an eye on, if you're interested in my daily antics.

Another notable thing that is still very early days is that I have been formally collecting all of my various ideas for Love & Degeneracy. It is an uber-project, which means that I am collecting as many of my various Life is Strange ideas and trying to fit them all into this singular project. As such, there are a lot of individual threads that nominally have no relation to one another.

Take, for example, the Whoretex Club thread, which you might recognize from some of my earlier Life is Strange project drafts:

By itself, this thread has no connection to the antics of Chloe & Max. However, my plan is to weave these various threads together into a singular cohesive tapestry. For example, my current plans for Chapter 3 of Love & Degeneracy is to have the first two episodes be the first two entries of this particular thread. In the first episode, Chloe watches and records Victoria pimping out Courtney in a back alley, before she drops and breaks her phone; and in the second episode, Max peeps on Taylor getting fucked in a gas station bathroom while waiting for the hitherto-distracted Chloe. The rest of Chapter 3, then, is Chloe and Max getting up to their bondage antics with Brooke while waiting for her software to recover the contents of Chloe's phone.

Similarly, early plans for Chapter 4 lightly kiss this thread. The bulk of Chapter 4 is Max being sent on a wild goose chase looking for Juliet, to share the video with Juliet in a bid to expose Victoria's prostitution operation. Once Juliet finally gets the video, she confronts Victoria with it - before Victoria manages to turn the tables and convince Juliet to join in.

That is why I find it important to separate out all of the threads first, see what all ideas I have in isolation, before I try to weave them together.

For example, another idea thread I have is of Kate domming Victoria. In fact, it is idly exploring this thread idea that is what sent me down the path of writing the SFM -> Blender scene pipeline. Specifically, this mood piece idea I had, of Kate having Victoria looking at her chest covered in body-writing via a mirror, while Kate idly lifts up Victoria's skirt to make sure she's been an anal-only harlot like God intended.

But of course, Source Filmmaker doesn't support mirrors, and so, the whole Blender pipeline thing.

But the natural question that arises is, how do I get to that idea, from the plans of Episode 2, with Kate suggesting that she and Chloe share their loving Max in a poly relationship?

Well, another loose idea I've had (no visuals for this one, sorry, it's purely hypothetical right now) is Kate standing up to Victoria teasing her (incorrectly) about being a virgin, and demanding Victoria publicly apologize to her. Victoria, whose not used to people pushing back against her, is taken aback--and aroused. This exchange ultimately ends with Victoria on her knees and licking Kate's rings--in the middle of the hallway--before asking Kate if there's "anything else I can do to make it up to you." To which Kate tells her, firmly, to keep her bedroom door unlocked tonight.

So that's a fantastic way to segue into Kate domming Victoria, I really like the mental image of the whole sequence. But how do we get to there from Kate's throuple with Chloe and Max? Well, my plans for Episode 2 involve an element where, after Chloe and Max play with Kate, Kate asks to watch Chloe and Max play together--under the pretense of "seeing how you two really make love with each other."

So my current thought is, I can definitely use that as an in, to start wedging in Kate's latent domme. Maybe she starts making suggestions while Chloe and Max play together, those suggestions turn into requests, and finally those requests morph into demands. Similarly, I can definitely imagine a scenario where Kate specifically dominates Chloe, directing her to please Max in various ways. And then I can imagine that spiraling into Kate developing a general thing for taking control, ultimately ending with her dominating and humiliating Victoria, in a classic bullied-becomes-the-bully story.

So in that way, another two threads--the Kate dominating Victoria thread, and the throuple thread--gets woven together, as a natural consequence of just teasing the threads out independently, and then trying to figure out how to tie them all together into the larger tapestry.

And as a free side-effect of this particular exploration, it also cleanly works out the kinks for Chloe, Kate, and Victoria--the three that I have been the most uncertain about. I already have the Polaroid of Victoria covered in bodywriting eating cum out of a dog bowl for the L&D intro sequence, and I think that plays in perfectly with this Kate/Victoria idea: have Victoria's kink be submission, she loves being told what to do, no matter what it is. And then as a natural counter to that, Kate's kink is domination, she loves telling others what to do, to be her own little outlet of God's Will. I can see this manifesting as her being a dominant verse, taking control both from the top and the bottom.

Chloe's kink has long been a challenge for me to figure out, but I think this particular idea solidifies it for me. Max's kink, as this week's episode (attempts to) reveal, is praise: not only is calling her a good girl the fastest way to make her cream her jeans, but she has a psychological need to be assured that she is doing a good job and is appreciated and is really good at the sex.

Conversely, I have been trying for a long time to figure out what Chloe's relationship with Rachel would have been. I have long determined that it was an unhealthy one, with Rachel not reciprocating Chloe's physical affections while having a strong tendency toward straight sex. The vague idea I've had in mind is that Chloe and Rachel didn't really have sex, but more Rachel used Chloe to masturbate--which developed some very unhealthy ideas of sex in Chloe's psyche, that her relationship with Max will be working to retool.

But I haven't been able to decide how that manifested. I've been oscillating between two ideas: either Rachel would pass Chloe around like a blunt and masturbate to others taking turns fucking her; or Rachel would pass herself around like a blunt, making sure to commentate the whole experience as Chloe watches others take turns fucking her.

With this Kate throuple->Victoria idea now in place though, this tying of the those two threads, it firmly establishes not only Chloe's kink, but Rachel's kink as well: Chloe is into humiliation, and Rachel is into trainbangs. Chloe loves being called a useless slut and used as a sex object, so she's entirely on-board with Kate taking control of her relationship with Max. And Rachel just loves the thrill of going through a line of guys, either for herself or with others.

Which also plays in perfectly with the dialogue in Episode 3 of L&D Chapter 1. Why does Chloe bring up having guys run a train on herself and Max? Because Rachel would have guys run a train on herself and Chloe. It is the love language that Chloe learned. It's all she's ever known sex to be like. It is her degeneracy, to be reprogrammed with love.

See what I did there?

So yeah. Lots of thought going into things like that.
