Adum. I think you should be particularly proud of your commentary on this one concerning holding nuanced opinions and how child stardom simply shouldnโ€™t be a thing. Also, the commentary about nepotism and people born to wealth donโ€™t live in a completely different world. I think people who complain about the idea of privilege of any kind need to realize that this doesnโ€™t mean you donโ€™t deserve sympathy or empathy. I have brittle bones disease, Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Iโ€™m Mister Glass. There are people who have it much worse than I do. I remember watching a Nickelodeon Special with Linda Elerbeee (Iโ€™m old) about a girl in the Amazon who had the same condition I have. Im a straight white guy who lives in a first world country. In those ways Iโ€™m lucky. Meanwhile I have dealt with very painful and traumatizing things that have made me extremely anxiety-prone. I also live with chronic pain. So, on one hand, there are people who always have it worse, on the other hand, any kind of discomfort for any person is something I donโ€™t want. If a person who lives in a first world country, is also a straight white Christian guy who is wealthy tells me they have a headache I will offer them acetaminophen and water so that they will become autistic but also have headache relief. Thatโ€™s nuanced thinking: Some people have everything in life handed to them, and they will never have to worry about being poor. They can still be good people who do good things and deserve empathy. Unless theyโ€™re billionaires who refuse to relinquish the means of production. Then we should cure their headaches with guillotines and seize the means of production.

Thank you so much for talking about how we should not have child performers. Iโ€™ve been advocating for YEARS that child roles like in movies should be done by specialized adult actors with a motion capture generative type filter over their face. If it still captures the nuances of their performance you get: better performance without having to limit the filming schedule and with zero child exploitation. Itโ€™s better for adult actors, the studios AND children. I absolutely believe the future will look back on this time in horror the same way we look back on the things children were made to do in the 1800s. We have reached the point where we can chuck it. As long as studios are hiring child actors there will be parents pimping their children to the system. Period.
